out of the 21 WBA title fights since Lewis-Holyfield, 12 of them have involved John Ruiz, 8 have involved Valuev.

Indeed Haye fought Ruiz as mandatory defence, and as long he fights Chagaev not more than one year later, Haye is allowed to fight as many crap defences he want in between...

Looks like Haye wired his 40,000 quid bribe and therefore the WBA listed Harrison in their top 15

He gave up his belt, so he not a current anything. He wasn't even ranked in the top 20 by the WBA until someone decided to insert his name at the number 15 spot just before the fight was announced.

That's true. But my guess is that Haye will sidestep Chaegeav using the simple excuse that Rusland cannot get a licence in the UK due to his Hepatitis. So, I'd expect more of the same if I were a Haye fan. And guess who's the number 2 ranked heavy by the WBA? That's right, Valuev. Next fight after this one for Haye, a Valuev rematch! Bank on it.

Because it's the WBA champion vs the linear champion. Why wouldn't they sanction it?
