Haney isn't the future if he can't consolidate his reign against the past ruler (and he definitely didn't do that). Look at the elite kings of the past, they all took over by force or they turned back the old guard's attempt.

Honestly, if I was Shakur I wouldn't even want Haney yet, I'd go after Lomachenko first. Attempt to do what Haney couldn't do. That would make it impossible for Haney to avoid him then.

    tottally agree
I’m just explaining why Haney got the nod over Loma. - the boxing game & why things are the way they are.

No one is stopping any of you from becoming a boxing judge.

The reason these judges continue to score fights for years is no one wants to do the work they put in to actually become a boxing judge.

And, when you become one, fans want your head or demand you be criminally investigated if they don't agree with you. One guy started a thread here asking why the boxers and their teams don't attack the judges after a bad score.

    It's pretty thankless.

I saw one poster on here who said he was at a tournament scoring amateur bouts all day Saturday before he got home to watch the fight. That's a start.

If you don't like the judges, become one.

Teddy Atlas has been complaining about scoring for 25 years. But he hasn't once attempted to become an actual judge. He isn't training anyone. Why doesn't Atlas and every boxing person who complains all the time about scores take up judging? Same with the retired fighters. Retired boxers used to become judges and referees all the time.

They don't because no one really wants the job.

Jeezus Christ man, this isn’t in the top 1000 of bad decisions. I mean it was a close fight, Loma lost, it’s that simple. If you don’t want to lose on the cards stop your man, score knockdowns, or definitively beat them. If you don’t do that you leave it to subjective scoring from three judges that might or might not favor your work. It’s not “corrupt” that someone disagrees with you.

Man you brought up some really good points, in fact to save face can I at least say "maybe just the ones from the blatant decision(s), " I might get into more trouble but to this day I don't know what to believe in sog Andre Ward beating Sergei kovalev- was it body shots or low blows?"

I know it is a bit offtopic. But I find it way worse that there is no accountabilty for ****ing politicians.
