Hatton really a Lt welter / but his pressure speed would be to much Oscar pass it/ but power speed will be to much baldi a bum / but sheer strenth will wear floyd down zab head case/ but he hits too hard and fast for floyd corrales weight drained/ but is too big, too strong, and hits too hard for floyd to handel castillio was robbed first fight/ floyd got lucky the first fight but will ko floyd the second time around. nduo is bum/ but has the power to crack floyds chin. Everyone of these guys were ether too big , too stong, hits too hard, yatta yatta yatta. What will next excuse be??? cotto was still green, oh yeah that was cotto's first excuse, but some how it will be reused..
Its pretty funny. All Floyd haters say how his next opponent will destroy him and how PBF is ducking them, then when PBF finally fights them and humiliates/destroys them all of a sudden the same people who said that PBF would get beaten are making excuses! Oh he was a bum anyway, he didn't stand a chance, he was too small blah blah blah Only after 2 weeks since the Hatton fight we're already seeing the familiar imbeciles, saying PBF is ducking this guy or ducking another guy or that he's scared :rofl When Floyd crushes those fighters they'll all make excuses again and think of some new names to say Floyd is ducking :rofl Its pathetic.
Floyd could fight Cotto, Williams and Margo in one night. And they'd claim well if Floyd fought Margo first instead of Cotto, Cotto would of won! I SWEAR!
I don't get it floyd has to be the luckest fighter in history. on any fighter with decent jab will beat floyd... Hello gatti jab more then oscar and was schooled...
Because they are legit and Mayweather pointed them out before hand. ie, calling Hatton a midget, calling DLH a has-been, Gatti a C-plus fighter :deal
When they first announced the sideshow attraction that was Mayweather-Hatton I said "screw this, Hatton's too small, I'm not paying". And I didn't. And am glad. I believe Floyd should get credit for doing what he needs to do in all his victories. But saying Hatton was too small IS a legitimate gripe, that fight should never have happened. It's not all the same people who were picking Hatton to fight who are now saying "whatever, he beat a light welter". Alot of good analysts gave Hatton zero chance from the word go because it was a ridiculous fight that shouldn't have even been made. They're only really "excuses" when they're said by the idiots who picked Hatton to begin with - those people are a minority (loud minority maybe, but nonetheless...)
Ain't he if this fight would have been at 140 it would have been the same result....and people would still be making the same excuses...
At 147 I want to see Floyd fight Cotto, Williams, or at a push, Margo. I don't care about anyone else. I don't want to see Mosely. I don't want to see another Hatton or DLH fight. OR Winky at whatever weight. Or any other old, name fighter. (and Please, not ****ing Mayorga). I'm not saying Floyds ducking them. Just that they would be his biggest tests based on size alone. Floyd has more skill, but they have more size. (I think Floyd starts favourite in all of those fights, but at least the other guys have an advantage is some areas) Floyd had more skill than Hatton, and was at least as big, if not bigger as him. ODLH is semi retired - but that was good win for Floyd. I have to say I was one of the ones bagging Floyd, but fighting ODLH and Hatton in a row is a good step up for him - even tho I had him favourite to win them both, they weren't bad fights. To be honest, if ANYONE thought that Baldo Zab Sharmba Gatti Had ANY more than a 1% chance of beating Floyd, they had rocks in their head.
http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=460146&highlight=Hatton#post460146 - note the date there. Oops, you just got F'ed in the A. Floyd's a great fighter. I'm not a hater. I think the idiots who picked Hatton to knock Mayweather out and are now making excuses are despicable. Mainly because they're only just now claiming what people like myself and Amsterdam had been saying ALL along leading up to that garbage waste of time fight - that it was a total stylistic and physical mismatch. Sorry it doesn't work out conveniently for you to be able to say that anyone who doesn't call it some fantastic legitimizing win for Floyd is a deluded hater. Sorry you can't sweep all the good analysts (who said all along Hatton would get steamrolled easily) under the rug to make your dumb little point about how "the only reason Floyd isn't getting credit is because people are turning 180 from what they said before and making excuses now". Yeah, some people are. They're douchebags. But the complaints about it not being a miraculous win are valid. Especially when you've been sticking to them since LONG before the fight.
