I thought you were going to say he was in fixed fights and the wise guys destroyed the evidence. :)

Many films were plundered for their silver content during World War 2, Greb was probably a casualty.

But plenty of other guys form the same time line are on film. Greb fought many greats. When exactly did his filmed fights disappear? People have been looking for them since the 1960's. I've never read they were " missing " in the 1930's - 1950's.

Yes, if its only six confirmed times he's been filmed, then that really doesn't hold out much hope.
There were a boat load of coronation st episodes filmed in the early 60 s that have now being wiped, gone forever. Same as a lot of Top of the pops from then.
I know they used to just record over lot of the tape back then, never thinking of saving for the future, but still.. It's a very slim chance that anyone thought, wow, this is spectacular, we need to save this for the grandkids.

It's the devil's work. Satan wants to forget Greb ever existed after the whooping of 1922.

Mysterious Billy Pickles hit Greb so hard in their recorded sparring session that he wiped Greb off of all known film.

    Greb was a vampire.

You can’t take pictures or film of them.

So when they filmed his fights it ended up with just his opponent throwing punches at air so they erased them or threw them away.

If Greb didn’t exist it would be necessary to invent him.

What’s the takeaway? Don’t waste your money on those Where’s Harry books. You’ll never find him. It’s a scam.

Chuck Norris fought Harry Greb. Harry Greb disintegrated into molecules.

I've posted a thread on the topic to gather together the Greb Truthers for the first time. The moment has come to stop hiding in the shadows and openly admit what everybody already knows, deep down.
