Why is there suddenly no complaining about HW Division's Quality?

The division has better depth now for sure. But Wlad and Vitali at one and two were great. To be honest I think a Prime 2010's Wlad loses against 2015's Fury and is 55/45 or so against current 2019's Joshua. No need to mention the third guy, so in order:

    Fury.
    Wlad.
    Joshua.
    Vitali.

Klit HW were better than now. You had wlad, vit, Pov, chagaev, peter, ibraghimov, thompson, later haye.
Today you have chubby featherfisted clown fury, windmill, juiceshua lol hahhaha and povetkin is still on top .

You have to be delusional to believe prime wlad wouldn’t beat juiceshua , or Fury and even dumber to think that Vitali would have problems with any of them.

Because fighters at the top are for the meantime coming from The UK, which is a more popular boxing nation then say Germany or Ukraine, so they get hyped up and given way too much credit than what they deserve. Its all about popularity, and where fighters come from.

I favor prime Wlad against Joshua.
Vitali would lose to all three of them.

I understand where you’re coming from. But what I would say is that any era would improve if you plucked the best from 2 eras and put them together. But I’d also say that if one fighter is better and more dominant, whilst being boring, then it’s likely to be a boring fight, regardless of the other fighters style.

Also, as mentioned before, great eras are as much about anticipation as they are great fighters. Put it this way, pretty much everyone expected Wlad to win all his fights, and not take much punishment doing it. That was the build up. Whereas now, for example, when I watched the Fury vs Wilder fight, the tension was deafening. The excitement brilliant. But why? The unknown. We didn’t really have a rock solid preconceived idea about how it would go, which creates excitement. In truth, other than the knockdowns it was quite uneventful, but extremely exciting at the same time. However, I’d wager that had a prime Wlad been in there with Wilder people’s preconceived ideas would be strongly in favour of a dominant Wlad KO, which would have sucked the anticipation out the window.

Vitali at his best beats all of them. A 55/45 fight would be Vitali against 2010 Wlad in Vitali’s favor. Main reason reason being that granite chin would most likely stand up to Wlad’s best.

    - many people (if not most) rate this division better than the 04, 05, 06, 07 heavyweight divisions... so it being the worst in your lifetime isnt true, imo.

    - Wilder is on par or better than Peter, and Fury is better than Byrd. Saying Wilder is a poor version of Peter and comparing Fury to Byrd just because they are both skilled, seems to hint that maybe youre just not gauging the current division accurately.

    - I think the excitement surrounding the division has people more concentrated on whats happening than they are on its quality.

Undefeated AJ Fury and Wilder seeing who becomes undisputed, a dangerous second tier of Whyte, Povetkin, Parker and Ortiz trying to break through to the top, and the heralded Usyk about to launch his assault on the division.

Its the funnest the division has been in some time (imo) and I think that distracts from the depth.

Add that to the division not really being that bad anyway, and it makes sense to me why there us less noise about its quality or lack thereof

I have followed and watched boxing since the 60's and honestly in my humble opinion HW boxing is in a pretty good place today. Good rivalry's, talented fighters and up-and-coming prospects.

People moaned in the 80's about HW boxing, people moaned in the 90's wishing it were the 80's again and so on. In ten years from now people will be wishing it was 2019 again.

I think quality wise, not much has changed other than we have three guys rather than 2. It is more exciting though without a doubt.

I think it may be partially because there is no "unified champ" and since there is the argument of "who is the best" it adds to the excitement enough to over look the quality
