The one thing I agree with is that the inflation of ABC belts allows boxers to hide behind their belt and make mediocre defenses for lower purses but very low risk rather than take a big risk and fight a unification/dangerous opponent.

Back when there was one title you either challenged the champ and won in order to make money or you fought for scraps. It's different today. Even a guy like Dillian Whyte makes excellent money without a HW belt. In the 50s he'd be living in a 1 BR and ride a bike instead of a 4 BR penthouse and a Bentley.

    2020 if we're lucky.
Pulev vs Fury, Parker-Whyte, Whyte-Bloated Browne.
Can't remember too many other contenders going at it.
It just makes me sad they we can list a pool of fighters
Ortiz, Povetkin, Pulev, Joyce, Parker, Breazele, Hugho Fury, Whyte, Ruiz, Etc

The chances of them mixing it up are slim. The sad part is there usually rumors of a fight nothing happens tho

I think people like to romanticize and overrate older periods of HW divison e.g Tyson prime erea with likes of Witherspoon,Carl Williams, Tucker, Tubbs, Thomas and Berbick whilst this era of HWs is stronger. I also think although the K brothers were fantastic fighters their opposition other than Lewis, Haye Povetkin and Pulev over a lenghty period were poor. When Joe Louis and Marciano dominated their era their opposition was also poor.

Two best HW eras have been prime Ali and prime Lewis periods.

    I think its declined

its competitive but that doesnt indicate talent

guys like povetkin and pulev and chisora who the Klitschkos handled are all older and still top contenders or in competitive fights with top contenders

the top 3 are good but I think that's it

Out of that list already there's also Parker-Hughie, Parker-Ruiz. Joyce Vs Ortiz is almost signed.

AJ has fought Brezeale, Parker, Povektin and Whyte from that list. Wilder has fought Ortiz and Fury.

The fight aaee happening. Next we're likely to see Wilder v Fury 2 and AJ v Miller.

This is a great time to be a fan.

I think Wlad was 26 when he stopped ray mercer, joshua was 27 when he took on wlad. Not sure why the number of fights is so important to you, because nobody prevented joshua from fighting more often.

Up until recently Fury was out of it anyway but if you go off rankings,Wilder v Ortiz,Joshua v Povetkin,Wilder v Fury,Joshua v Parker,Whyte v Parker were all highly ranked fights though I agree it’s time guys like Joyce and Miller came to the party.
I’m expecting Usyk to really shake things up though.

Lewis, Wlad , or Vitali beats anybody from this era. Juiceshua is clearly the best HW of this era and I would give him very little chance against either klit , or lewis.
Wilder can’t box and Fury is the most overrated HW ever, if anybody could enlighten me what did fury do to be considered decent? He barely beat old , shot wlad in a boring slap contest ,same old wlad who looked like sheet and went life and death with Jennings 6 months before he fought Fury. Wlad was shot and Fury failed to beat him convincingly. Then he outboxed Wilder , but everybody did before getting KTFO, the only difference is that Fury woke up and now has one win over old wlad and one draw with the guy who can’t box.
    Lewis> wlad> vitali>>>>>>>>>>joshua >>> fury/wilder.

Lewis , wlad or Vitali would def dominate Joshua and Fury is not even on the same level as joshua.
