Without a doubt the most overrated fighter in years. Though Broner reaching #6 on the p4p rankings is almost unfathomable I must admit. But I digress. His best "win" is a robbery over a past it featherweight. His other notable win is over a 40 year old past featherweight. Hell, prime Marquez and Pacquiao beat the living hell out of Bradley and they're tiny in comparison. He has beaten Devon Alexander and Ruslan Provo. His best legit wins. Who lost in their primes to Chris Algieri and wait for it....., wait a minute.... Aaron Martinez. Yea Aaron Martinez. Nah. They're talking about this guy going to the boxing HOF when guys like Julian Jackson still aren't even in there.
Tim Bradley is legit. A very good name for Pac's resume too that further bolsters Pac's resume. Marquez was coming off KTFO6 when Bradley skilfully outpointed him. W Diego Gabriel Chaves (yes, win) W Miguel Vazquez W Ruslan Provodnikov W Lamont Peterson W Devon Alexander W Jessie Vargas W Brandon Rios W Junior Witter W Carlos Abregu Overall, he's been very consistent. He's two more good names away from making HOF. Jackson will be HOF.
Vasquez, Witter, Cherry, Holt, Campbell, Peterson, Abregu, Alexander, Casamayor, Pacquio, Provodnikov, JMM, Pacquio, Chaves, Vargas, Rios and Pacquaio. That's Bradley's last 17 fights. People rave about Carl "the warrior" Froch's resume yet **** on Bradley when again his resume is concrete and better. As for his best win I'd say Witter or Holt.
It's more appropriate to call him an overachiever than overrated IMO. He maximized his potential and never got the hype train others did because he was too blue collar for it. But the dude earned everything he got in this sport outside of the Pac 1 decision, and its not his fault Pac got robbed.
Resume alone is not what makes someone over or underrated, at the end of the day Bradley is not a polished fighter. He makes many mistakes and has obvious flaws that other fighters of his status do not have.
True he is flawed but he's a 2 weight world champion and as I said he's got an excellent resume. Timmy is an elite fighter.
Absolutely, only man to beat him is Manny Pacquaio, and he was very competitive. Calling him overrated is dumb.
I would not label Bradley as overrated. No one overrates him because hes barely spoken of now. Hes a solid fighter with an Iron chin. Yes he has his flaws but which fighter doesnt? I personally believe he was alot better at 140 than 147.
