The dude is a warrior. I'm a fan of him. He has a good resume and a lot of his fights are fun to watch. Like his fights with Providnikov, Pacman, etc. It seems like on these forums, he doesn't get enough love. Am I correct in this?
Bradley is borderline HOF, he's 2 wins away at most, from HOF. If he is given support, it just strengthens people's opinions on Pacquiao's resume. He's also not a big personality into the 'pretty boy swag' culture, therefore he is not ridden hard by the demographics who are mentally immature.
He's a great fighter, but the Pac and Provo "wins" will forever hang over his head. I really think that has earned him a lot more money as he should have, but actually hurt his standing in the eyes of boxingfans and history a bit.
Bradley > Hatton. W Marquez (ATG coming off KTFO6) W Provodnikov (prime) W Vasquez W Chaves (yes, win) W Peterson W Alexander W Vargas W Rios W Witter L Pacquiao x 3 That's a consistent resume, missing just around 2 Top 10 names i.e guys like Thurman, Khan, Garcia, Brook, Porter etc.
Timmeh is given his props, I think. He was never gonna be a superstar. If he can get a win or 2 over the new skool 147 crew I wouldn't complain if he made HOF.
hes a good fighter..i like timmy...don't have any beef with him theres a few people that prob overrate him though...trying to prop up pacs resume....but tim is good
It's because he doesn't have power... mostly. There are other reasons too but can't narrow one down. You're so racist.
Who has he beat recently? His career was going great intill he slowed it down at 147 Vargas - nobody, Brook will outbox. Provo - overrated Rios - bum bum Didn't beat Pacquiao Marquez well over the hill not willing to fight young opponents unless he thinks he has advantages over them (Bradley small and little power Marquez underestimated his boxing ability) As the current #1 at 147 Bradley needs to fight someone decent and of HIS GENERATION. Thurman, Brook, Khan...any of them jesus. they all keep avoiding one another for stupid reasons. Khan should just retire...shot and over the hill...and Bradley is going to follow suit. The Spence take over has begun...the division stagnated under Pacquiao and Floyd. Some hope might shine if Thurman can dominate Porter but he won't...
The move to 147lbs in hindsight wasn't the best move for Timbo. But financially dude made the right choice so we can't hate on him for that. @140 (IMO) Timmy was head & shoulders the best and a Garcia fight would have been a classic. Still one of my favorite to watcy
