Why is Timothy Bradley one of the highest paid boxers on the planet?

Freddie Roach and many of those in the boxing industry claim Timothy Bradley is unable to sell tickets and there isn't much business in fighting him.

If Tim Bradley really can't sell any tickets, as Freddie Roach claims, why is he paid so much money and why are "ticket sellers" like*Ricky Hatton interested in fighting him? Bradley was paid $1.1 million dollars to fight Devon Alexander, $1.025 million dollars to fight Joel Casamayor, then a base pay of $5 million dollars to fight Manny Pacquiao.

Just fighting Pacquiao made Bradley better known. Pulling off the upset, fairly or not, only made Bradley even more famous. So next time you hear Freddie Roach say something along the lines of "Bradley sold six tickets last time and he'll sell less next time," just take it with a grain of salt. Bradley is happy with the money he's making.

Bradley is a disgrace for even acting like he won since the Pacquiao bout. Punk.

Bradley is not that big of a draw and all of Pacquiao's oppents in the last couple of years get $5 million plus a small proceed of the PPV $$. When he fights Lucas Matthysse (And it will happen probably at 147) he will get destroyed and you will not hear much more about Timmy

It's well documented that Bradley fights don't sell well. Prior to fighting Pac, Bradley's biggest fight to date was against Alexander; a fight that did extremely poor at the box office. And if you want to discount that as an example due its unfavorable location of Detriot, Michigan, one only has to youtube his fights in his hometown against Campbell, Abregu, and Peterson to see the array of empty seats.

That didn't make sense. For Bradley's weight class, he has fought comparatively better opposition than Martinez. He is at least fighting the best available opponent. He took on Alexander, and Pacman recently. That would be like, Martinez fighting Golovkin, and then moving up in weight to take on Andre Ward.
