Have you ever seen this before? It seems strange. He's in the middle of his camp, but he seems more interested in selling the fight than actually training for it.

He's been doing a bunch of long interviews. Even flying out of his camp to go do interviews to sell and promote the fight.

I thought a healthy camp was one without distractions, yet Furys camp has a bunch of them.

Meanwhile, wilder has gone under the radar just silently training for the fight, zero distractions.

I thought media workouts are usually done about a couple weeks before the fight?

He is coming for a pay day and that's it. He is fat and out of shape and thinks he has nothing to prove after Klitschko.

Probably a contractual obligation. I think Wilder has had the same, he's been on shows this week and there's clips of him performing in front of the media also.

Neither of these guys has a PPV history and Showtime has a lot riding on this. So the desires of the respective teams to focus on preparation has to be balanced against commercial imperatives. They have tickets and PPV to sell...

Fury has been in camp for twelve months. He can spare a few hours here and there.

    Yup

He doesn't even care if he loses this one because in his mind beating klitschko makes him the best heavyweight of his generation and if he loses he will just say he had no motivation and was content with the Munich win

Pure hate topic. Complete nonsens. Fury stays in Big Bear and having his camp in the US instead of being in his comfort zone at home.

Because he's better at hyping a fight than actually boxing?

He's clearly working very hard in camp and looks to be in good shape. He's away from his family for weeks. The odd media appearance is actually a good distraction for someone like Tyson.

It will be in his contract, he wont want to do them, his team wont want him to do them but if he wants that fight he has to do it. I remember Hearn mentioning things like this when Joshua got offered the phantom 50 million offer. He said they needed to know what would be asked of Joshua leading up to the fight as he didnt want his fighter getting dragged all around America when he was meant to be locked away training.

There will be loads of little things in Fury's contract that is not beneficial to his training camp, Thats Finkel trying to disrupt a smooth camp, and thats also the reason why these contracts come with confidenciality clauses.
