He landed 134 punches and only 29 were power punches.

Vitali would leave with a W if Wlad posted those numbers.

Yes the CompuBox numbers say he landed 134/509 or 26ish%.

Not that I trust CompuBox completely but that doesn't seem like a low output to throw over 500 punches at heavyweight over 12 rounds so kinda backs up my eye test. Sure Wlad's workrate is not anywhere near Vitali's but I think that in that fight it was acceptable workrate and Haye was hard to land on cleanly in his prime.

I agree Wlad didn't land with lots of power shots his game plan was using his footwork to keep Haye pinned on the back foot.

Compubox is surprisingly accurate from what I’ve heard when people scrutinize it.

11 punches per round, 9 being jabs, sounds like a tough way to decision Vitali.

Wlad would probably be better off trying for a war like he did with Pulev.

I mean is in it's still pretty subjective like anything.

I think Wlad would fight like that as it worked against Haye a 6'2 speedy fighter. Against bigger guys Wlad was generally more confident in throwing aside from Fury it but again who knows if it would work against Vitali or not I wouldn't be confident to say.

It might also be a cagey fight especially if we are assuming they fight as brothers.

Haye at 6’3 and a 78 inch reach was fine at range as a heavyweight, especially given his speed. Vitali only had an 80 inch reach.

    Yeah I added 6'2 because I think Haye isn't really a full 6'3 :p
