I was gonna say - some awfully long posts, when the single phrase 'sole discretion' said it all:patsch

There's something going on behind the scenes and it probably involves Wlad fighting for the belt as soon as it becomes vacant.

Vitali is done with boxing. He looked **** against Charr and barely took a single step forward even though Charr's gameplan was to up the ante after the mid rounds.

I doubt Vitali will box again. He's finished. He's in politics now.

Löffler from K2 said Vitali has one more fight left and didn't make it clear it was going to be against Stiverne. Quite sad.

The WBC need to do something here. Unless Vitali has assured them of an defence early 2014 then they should invoke their champion in recess bollocks thing a me bob. I'm surprised they haven't already actually. With them being perhaps the most corrupt body it's surprising they haven't created another hw 'World champion' belt like the one Haye held and now Povetkin.

Erm, nobody has ever claimed that as a 'World title' belt.

The WBC did nothing about Lewis at all.

Vitali will fight Stiverne in early 2014, I expect him to retire in early 2015. I can tell that so many hatters/liars want Vitali to retire ASAP, that is called wishful thinking.

Ukranian elections are next year Vitali wont be fighting any body next year, Expect him to start talking about making fights though to keep his name in the papers then get another mysterious injury

Bollocks. The WBC did do something about Lewis. 8 months after he fought Vitali he was told "defend against your mandatory or we'll strip you" and he relinquished the title and retired. Whereas when Vitali sits on his ass for almost a year and turns down three purse bids from his mandatory before declaring himself injured and out of action until 2014 the WBC does jack-**** and lets him keep their title and wont even arrange an interim fight.

I'm a Vitali fan and suspect you are right. He's simply delaying the inevitable, he doesn't seem to want to fight anymore. He delayed the purse bids even before the injury and has hinted he will run for president. His mind is more on politics rather than boxing.

I have lost some respect for Vitali because of this, he really needs to make a decision and either commit fully to boxing and retire or focus solely on politics. Boxing should not be a part time career or hobby for him the fans deserve better.

I feel sorry for Stiverne he's the real victim hear he's spending his prime doing nothing waiting for a title shot against Vitali which I suspect will not happen.
