Ward's fans want Golovkin to go up 8 lbs., but they do not want Ward to go up 7 lbs., and Ward still gets his personal referee to protect him, his judges, his hometown, his boxing commission, his commentators, etc.

People saying there are no fights at smw need to relax. There are always viable opponents that spring up as time passes by. Lhw was thought of as a joke just a year ago. Look at it now.

I don't mind War staying in 168lbs until he retires, aslong as he fights everyone. Meaning fight 4 times an year & dominates. That way he retires GOAT of 168

The non sense of him going up to get KTFO by a bigger guy, is not fair & if he wins it proves little.

Let him dominate 168lbs, I am pretty no boxer can go undefeated, if they keep fighting random contenders from 4 different belts :deal

So cleaning up 168 alone is a challenge, that I doubt Andre Ward is willing to take. Especially with the Annual or semi-annual appearances he makes :-(

I love it how Ward needs to move up to face better competition ,if his last name was Calzaghe there would be no issue with him fighting anyone at that weight !

Ward doesn't have to move up, just agree to fight GGG at 164, simple. LOL! He'll go nowhere near 175 as long as Kovalev and Adonis are there. Can't say I blame him..
