Why is Ward not willing to travel outside USA to make a big fight?

toward the end of his life, my sainted grandfather sat me down and told me:

"The only thing more boring than a John Ruiz fight is a Super Hans thread".

I don't know how he knew this as it was years before ESB came into existence, but god bless him, he had the foresight in his last days.

 

He told me that if I don't comment on the incredibly-boring-utterly-pointless-agenda-driven-Super-Hans threads that "goblins would come out of the ground and ****/kill/eat orphaned children". So...really, it's a public service I'm doing. You're welcome.

He also told me that "grown men who use emoticons are half ******ed"...

 

That fight wouldn't generate 10k fans in Toronto. Wards boring as hell and Stevenson is disliked and a nobody outside of hard core fans. Steve molitor, a local, and fairly popular fighter, could only get a few thousand fans in casinos around here. Stevenson would maybe do that with another big name.

That being said, I agree with you, he needs to travel to fight but it won't do those numbers.

 

He's just plain scared to leave home

The difference is, unlike you i happen to know something about boxing, so if I get reset to 75 vcash I can build it back up to 10,000+ in no time, which I did over the last 3 months. But you, since you don't know **** about baxin', is always hanging around 75 vcash :rofl.

And you know what, everyone else sees it too. Look at the responses in this thread...you DKSAB :rofl. That's why your vcash will ALWAYS be as pathetically low as it is.
