Why is/was Joe Calzaghe hated on

great call about the ali thing. he did a ton of weird little tricks and annoying tactics that fighters on this forum often get ripped for by the non-experienced crowd. Slapping, hitting behind the head, holding (A LOT), pot shotting/cherry picking, laying on the ropes too much.

for ali, its called 'crafty' but when other fighters do it its cheating or cheap or whatever. Not to take away from ali necessarily, but man is the double standard ridiculous. again tho, its usually coming from people who have never seen people like ali or the older atg's fight and just assume they all fought like Soda Popinski from mikes punchout.
