Why is Wilder so scared of Whyte?

He signed up to fight Ortiz and Povetkin at the end of the day, both much better fighters than Whyte

Wilder signed to fight Ortiz and Povetkin, I see no reason why he would sign for those two but be too scared to sign for Whyte. Either Wilder rejected it because the money Matchroom offered actually wasn't that much or he did it because he didn't want to be accused of fighting another scrub.

I don't know why the Miller fight hasn't happened or why the Ortiz one couldn't when he was with Hearn but I can't see anyone being scared of him at all.

I don't think highly of Wilder, but I think he'd knock Whyte out. Whyte's defense is bad.

Irrelevant... He didn't fight either. Povetkin was his mandotory and was eventually cleared but WBC never put him back in to contention like they have with Stiverne.

Wilder still ducked Whyte and he ignored the fact Whyte offered himself as a stand in for Ortiz (even on short notice). If it looks like a duck and it quacks guess what....

And Wilders defence is top notch? Lol. I see no reason to make Wilder favourite in this potential fight.

Well, no, but Whyte is hittable, and Wilder's right hand is deadly.

Deadly again C level and B level with glass jaws. He didn't stop Stiverne and he didn't drop Duhaupas. Whytes left hook would put Wilder in all sorts of trouble and he shown to be susceptible to it previously... Whyte hits a lot harder than Molina.

Chisora was rocking Whyte. Wilder hits MUCH harder than Chisora.

True. But we all know Wilders game plan... Move around, flick out jabs and look for the right hand. His poor defence leaves him open to the left hook and that's why he won't fight Whyte... It's his best shot.

Whyte will not lay down, he will keep on throwing to the body and make it a rough fight. Wilder wins but it's a hard fight that he doesn't want to take imo. Wilder will not take on pressure fighters like Whyte or Miller any time soon.

Did he fight either of them though? Perhaps the reason he didn't take Whyte's offer is because he knew there was no way out of it... If Wilder fought Whyte then he would get some credit for it, because Whyte isn't a scrub, not the best but certainly no bum.

Nothing else makes sense other than these fighters being scared or not willing to take the risk - There is no doubt Hearn is offering big money to these fighters because he want's a big chief support for the AJ fight.

Wilder would get massive credit for fighting Whyte. Check any Twitter or Instagram post of his and over half of the comments are people telling him to fight Whyte... If not that then they send him pictures of Windmills.

Well, no it is relevant. He signed to fight them, so he was happy to fight them. They got busted for PEDS. WBC then pushed Stiverne in as the replacement as he was the mandatory to begin with. It's a **** fight but that's on the WBC, nothing to do with Wilder.

They got busted for PEDS so WBC reinstated Stiverne as mandatory. Ortiz's team has paid Stiverne step aside money in the first place, not Whyte's. Why would Whyte then get the fight?

Unless I see evidence of a big money offer from Hearn I won't believe it. He's an excellent promoter and as a result is a constant source of bull****

Both Povetkin and Ortiz would KO Whyte who is worse boxer and lesser puncher than Povetkin and Ortiz
