Why is Wilder the biggest joke in boxing?

Only thing more comical than his supposed worthy world title challengers is his boxing technique. He lives up to his windmiller nickname, there are amateurs in their first year of boxing who have better technique than Wilder when he tries to finish someone.

The whole Bomb squad thing is comical as well. It reeks of desperation, "hey someone take notice of me, I matter, please don't ignore me."

 

I also like the way he pulls back from punches in a straight line with his chin in the air. It reeks of being amateur.
If he was literally in with anyone who was not a stiff- he would be countered smack bang on the chin and be brutally KO'd.

But thankfully for him, his management doesnt believe in him at all and keeps feeding him stiffs who do not punch back.

 

The REAL coward was Povetkin who was too scared to face Wilder without taking a tune-up against tall man Mariuz Wach.
If Wilder is so terrible , why did Povetkin feel the need to postpone the fight to get practice against Wach?

Povetkin was such a coward he didn't feel confidant facing Wilder clean so juiced himself up to the eyeballs.

If Wilder is such a joke why is nobody lining up to take his belt off him? Show me all the guys calling Wilder out?

If Wilder is a coward , WTF is Parker?
Just say you you hate the man and nothing he can ever do will change your feelings towards him.. Or are YOU too much of a coward to admit it?

IF Wilder actually ever fought another elite HW then I would give the guy credit and buy into him as a top HW deserving respect.

The FACT is he never has, and looks extremely unlikely to.

Even AJ has now fought another elite HW (Wlad) after only 18 fights. Now he has my respect and buy in.

I dont respect you, unless you earn my respect. I have seen too many frauds in my time, who look fantastic banging out stiffs and then get exposed when they step up.

No one really knows whether Wilder is elite because the best opponent is still Stiverne, who is not even a top 10 HW.

 

All us fans want is for an up and coming fighter to face 1 opponant of real quality as only then do we really get to find out where that up and coming fighter stands in the reality of top tier Boxing. Wilder has long since been an up and comer, become a champion and made defenses of that championship. Yet we are still waiting to find out where he stands in the reality of top tier Boxing.

Thats what really bugs me about Wilder. I will not miss one of his fights as they are entertaining and usually end with a vicious knock out and im sure it his managment who are the real massive pu5sies here not Deontay if his voice wants to be listened to when he claims he knocks Wlad, AJ, Fury, Ortiz, Parker, other Fury, Povetkin and the rest then he needs to actually show us he is atleast willing to try to do any of that.

Yeah he was all set to face Povetkin but he didnt. Dont care whose fault it is, it didnt happen. But even still, thats only 1 fight. Same could be said for AJ, but he has now faced Wlad and on top of that isnt boasting a record of nearly 40 fights.

 

People only hate those who are relevant.

Wilder beats most. Most fighters know who the top guys are, Wilder is on that list. No one cares about the haters, we need them to make the sport lucrative, Joshua has detractors, Floyd, GGG, Canelo ...they all have fans and haters.

I personally dislike the way Canelo has conducted himself with GGG, and his choice in opponents. I still watch his fights, why?
Because dude can fight, He has skills and would beat most in the ring, just like Wilder.

The more hate you get, the more relevant you are. Its a good sign. When Eric Molina or another irrelevant fighter gets hate thread being made, then I will be worried.

There is literally ZERO elite level HW out there for him to fight. NONE.

Ive seen how the hate has grown worse and worse as the years go by.

First it was Wilder gets destroyed by the first top 20 ranked contender he faces
Then it went to-
Stiverine shatters his jaw with the first punch he lands
Spizlka is in great condition. Not a bad fight. Wilder might get stopped.
Warzick is a joke of a fight. Washington would be a good late replacement.

Now that Wilder wants to unify its - oh he already has a belt , why does he want another one..

Canelo has the power and ability to fights anybody he wants to. There's a half dozen top names out there willing to fight Canelo yet he continually ducks and cherry picks absolutely disgraceful opposition.

Wilder doesn't have that power. He can't click his fingers and make Joshua fight him. He didn't drop his belt to duck his version of GGG.
He doesn't have a long line of top guys at the ready to face him. Explain that.

 

Wilder only needs to fight better opposition then all of his antics are forgotten for me.

You pick by far the two weakest names to make your point? I agree, DW is all risk that vastly outweighs any reward.

DW imho is the only fighter that could upset Aj. How does his power stack to wlads ? If it's reasonably similar that's a dangerous fight.

I think wlad at 41 is still the most physically gifted and if he could borrow someone else's mindset he could reign supreme again.

Last Sat was the absolute best wlad I've ever seen, in every way. He was in his very best shape with great legs. Problem is he landed everyone of his best shots, he was too cautious especially in round 6 and 7.

That right that put Aj down is the beginning of the end for anyone except last sat Aj. What a chin that came through with flying colors.

Off track, DW catchphrase yelling and screaming is the only turnoff for me

 

He is a joke and a disappointment. He is becoming the Adonis Stevenson of the HW division in terms of Standing and Relevance. Add to that his personality(Yelling and screaming, arrogance despite not having beat any of the 10 best Heavyweights)and there isnt much to like about him. Would have loved to have an American HW champ but he is 31 in his 9th year as a pro and hasnt fought anyone.
Atleast Parker fought Takam and Ruiz. The best HWs right now are Joshua, Wlad and Ortiz. We'll see what happens with Fury and Povetkin
