Why is Wlad facing Haye in June instead of Povetkin?

    Has Povetkin bottled it?

If Haye wins he may chase Vitali, or if the fight is close there could be a rematch. Povetkin could be shut out until 2010.

    Wlad makes a voluntary defence.

Povetkin had his chance in december 2008. Now he had to wait until Wlad had to fight his mandatory IBF.

Nobody cares about the Povetkin fight. The Haye fight is all that matters at HW right now.

Yeah I mean one guy is a 6'2" 230lb proven heavy with wins over Donald, Byrd and Chambers. He has hand speed mobility, power and stamina.

The other has had two fights at heavy, despite a good run at cruiser, has a questionable chin and stamina and is scaling in at only 215.

Whereas one consistently sells out venues in two countries and draws millions of viewers the other has had trouble selling out venues in his home town and has rarely broken the million viewer mark.

Povetkin is an Olympic champion and a true heavyweight. So speaking that Haye is better than him stupid if not unproven.

donald, byrd and chambers are all average at best, obviously byrd would have been a gret win hlf a decade ago. Does he really have much power and his chin aint exactly rock solid.
