I think Wlad knows there is a good chance he gets KTFO against Fury...

Mick Hennessy said purse bid will go ahead in June. How is Wlad stalling exactly?

I would be very surprised if Wlad signs to fight Fury. I think Fury is a major threat to him, and Wlad looked like complete garbage the last time out.

Agreed. If a guy like Jennings can give Wlad that amount of trouble, Fury will most likely beat him

Wladimir Klitschko will will await a bid from Hennessy to ensure he makes the most $$$ from the fight.

Should K2 make a contractual offer of say 4 million, 1 million going to Fury, then Team Fury can claim that K2 is lowballing him and bow out.

What K2 is doing is essentially saying to Hennessy, SHOW US YOUR $$$ and we will gladly take 75% of it and force you to make the arrangements on your own dime.

Of course Team Fury wants the most $$$$ they can get off this fight, IF Fury takes it, but they Fury's promoter wants K2 to spend the dough, and we all can remember that they're not in the business of throwing good $$$ after bad.

K2 will bid 4-6 million, put offer up a few low wage undercard opponents and propose the fight is held in Germany.

Hennensy is gonna have to bid 10-12 million for Fury to earn 2 mil, and then get several decent undercard opponents to feed to K2 fighters and that's gonna be difficult considering the amount left over for the undercard.

Smart strategy by K2 forcing the opponents promoter to dig deep. :thumbsup

When Fury was announced as the next opponent, everyone knew it would go to pursebids.

Wlad would never honor Fury's weird demands, and Fury would never agree with Wlad's terms... so pursebids it is. Why is that in any way strange?

when he fights cement-footed plodders a head shorter than him, he has excellent defense

when he fights someone closer to his size (Firtha), he does the chicken dance :yep

Jennings fought smart staying out of Wlad's wheelhouse.

Fury, while better at controlling range, will not be able to dictate range vs Wladimir.

They will be wlatzing every time the fight gets inside, initiated and allowed by both fighters, and Wlad will pummel Fury from the outside, jabbing, hooking off the jab, and throwing the lead R hand.

Nothing Fury does defensively will be a bother to Wladimir.

Fury's gonna have to try to do what Pulev could not, and that is impose his power on Wladimir by throwing his defense out the window.

So......who's gonna win. Wlad or Fury?

If it goes 12 rds of waltzing.....Wlad wins a lopsided decision behind his 1-2 and scores a couple KDs.

If Fury follows the Pulev plan......he's got a 30% chance of catching lightning in a bottle.

My guess is.....he doesnt want to risk that 70% of getting starched and wants to preserve his dignity.

    Wladimir Klitschko 117-109.:thumbsup
