An objective and rational post. A rarity in these emotional threads. Thank you.

Because he's a white Ukrainian man....
As for those who say he's boring...He did exactly what Emanuel asked him to do. Emanuel told him to wear him down, don't go for the kill, etc. Then, he told him to turn it up, and Wlad *tryed*. Finally connecting in the 12th for the KO.

The man isn't going to take needless chances, and he's going to listen to Steward. You guys just want him to open up more so he runs the risk of getting KTFO!

You people hate Vitali as well, and he's a lot more aggressive, has an iron chin, and throws many punches. So, besides being brothers what does these 2 have in common? Nothing except there tall, WHITE, UKRAINIAN men. So, it's called discrimination in about 75% of cases. After they beat Haye...Who will be your HW savior?

wladimir dominated chambers, but i expected better than that from wladimir. a fighter of wladimir's capability should of been good enough to put a fighter like chambers away by the 7th round. his own ****ing trainer was disappointed aswell, so it doesn't take a smart guy like me to tell you why wladimir is getting hammered.

    Here is Dan Rafael's take;

Rafael's remark: Thank goodness for trainer Emanuel Steward. All fight long he was begging Klitschko, who was utterly dominant and in no danger, between rounds to pick up the pace, to put his punches together and to get rid of the undersized, noncompetitive Chambers. At one point, Steward likened the terrible fight we were seeing to Klitschko's horrendously boring fight against Sultan Ibragimov in 2008, one in which a tiny bit of aggression from Klitschko could have been enough for a knockout. Steward was so frustrated with Klitschko, who, by the way, had won every second of every round, before the beginning of the 12th round that he yelled what all of us who were watching (including the 50,000-plus at the soccer stadium) must have been thinking: "We don't need another bulls--- decision!" Thankfully, Klitschko finally got the message and went out there and put Chambers away for a spectacular knockout with five seconds left in the fight. He creamed him with a left hook that sent Chambers staggering backward into one of the corner pads before he collapsed sideways and came to rest facedown with his body hanging over the bottom ring rope. Referee Geno Rodriguez called it off without a count. He could have counted to 100 because Chambers, who had been punished for the whole fight, was gone.

But what the hell took Klitschko so long? That is what is sooooo frustrating about the best heavyweight in the world. He totally dominates but doesn't thrill, which is what we want from the heavyweight champion. Klitschko, 33, of Ukraine but based in Germany, could have ended this mandatory fight just about anytime he wanted to. As early as the second round, he staggered Philadelphia's Chambers, 27, with a hard right hand. But Klitschko, who won his 12th fight in a row, didn't go after him. Chambers tried to rough Klitschko up, which was kind of funny. It was like watching a mouse try to rough up a lion. He picked Klitschko up during clinches in the first and second round and tried to slam him to the canvas both times. That was pretty much the extent of his offense. He simply had zero ability to get inside Klitschko's long and devastating jab. He talked like he had a great game plan in the buildup to the fight, and maybe he did. But outweighed by 35 pounds and 5-plus inches shorter, Chambers could not implement whatever plan he had in any way. Round after round, Klitschko rocked his head back with jabs and mixed in some heavy rights. Klitschko is so basic in the way he fights -- jab, jab, jab, jab, right hand, repeat -- but with his physical advantages, quick hands, smarts and skills, most opponents simply can't do anything against him.

By the third round, Chambers' left eye was swelling after eating so many jabs. When Chambers' right glove broke in the ninth round, he had a rest while the glove was changed, but that didn't help change the momentum either. Steward, meanwhile, stayed on Klitschko after every round until his words finally got through. It was an exciting ending to Klitschko's eighth defense, but the first 11-plus rounds were dreadful and are exactly why he has been essentially banished by the American TV networks, relegated to bootleg Internet streams or his official Web site's pay-per-view. The way the fight with Chambers went just gave those TV executives more ammunition for why they avoid his fights and those of his brother, fellow heavyweight titleholder Vitali Klitschko. It's not their fault they are so dominant, but they could help their cause significantly with a little aggression, which was exactly the point Steward was trying to make.

Chambers, who deserved the title shot based on recent wins, saw his five-fight winning streak come to a violent end. He hadn't lost since a decision to 2004 Russian Olympic gold medalist Alexander Povetkin in January 2008, a fight that was also in Germany. Povetkin, a long overdue mandatory challenger for one of Klitschko's belts, looms as his next opponent later this year. He may be slightly more competitive than Chambers, but it looks like another Klitschko wipeout.

It's a shame so many people are critical of Wlad because he's white(even other white people).

You are correct sir! did anyone notice that every second post on the board is about the Kbros after they win a fight?

It is so funny because it is always white fans that bring up race. Then you have people claim it is because they is not American.

the Kbros are very good heavyweights that are beating the crap out of a crappy division (which they should do). They are doing some of the main things that most elite boxers do and that is always bring there A game, Maintain a healthy lifestyle and train their hearts out. Because of this and the fact that neither one has been in a lot of wars their peaks have and will last longer than the average heavyweight. But C'mon fellas that was fast eddie in there . . . not King Kong. Beating him means nothing (ask HBO)

Are you for real??? HE WAS FIGHTING A FAT CRUSIERWEIGHT!!!! Is Wlad THAT afraid of a 209lb man with no punch power??? If he's that afraid to open up against Eddie Chambers, how the hell is he going to do it, against a fighter like Haye??? Wlad is gonna **** himself in that case. Cos what does he do?? onl;y employ the jab?? sooner of later Haye would get past that and then what???? Everyone who is backing Wlad would have to close their eyes for a few brutal seconds!

Just face it, the man has no heart, he fights little guys, has a glass chin, worse than any other fighter out there if thats the faith he has it in? afraid to take a chance against a man who was NO THREAT AT ALL. Don't try and tell me otherwise. Why do you think poor old Manny Steward was tearing the last few remaining strands of his hair out???? I mean he had to point out to Wlad and I quote "You are a big man!!!!! let your hands go!!!!!!!!" what a sissy big Wlad really is.

He isn't getting any respect because, well, I don't know why? I don't like to jump to the "race" conclusion, but maybe it's because he is white. I don't really think that is it, at least not with everyone. The Klitschko's are two great heavyweights that make their competition look very weak, even though their competition is pretty good. I have never seen a heavyweight, or two heavyweights that people love/hate like that Klitschko's. People either love them or hate them. There is no in between. I don't think there are too many heavyweights of ANY time that could deal with the Klitschko's head to head. I am not saying they are #1 and #2 on my all-time heavyweight list, but they should rank fairly high on anyone's list. But, some of you haters would rank them, probably somewhere in the thousands. Right haters?

Again, name one fighter that has dominated Eddie Chambers? Just one? Nobody has. I don't care if Eddie is 4'5", and 140 lbs, nobody has ever 1. Outboxed him 2. Countered him 3. Bust him up 4. Put him to sleep for a 100 count. Nobody but Wladimir Klitschko. And yet not a mention of this by the press.

Maybe it is because he is a white man from the Ukraine. It seems that the American media is very biased towards black athletes. I know for a fact that the NAACP has discussed the "problem" of eastern European and Latin American athletes in the past. How these athletes do not have the American mentality of black athletic superiority and are therefore not pre-handicapped mentally when competing against black athletes. How they need to lobby or stricter immigration laws to keep these athletes and their countrymen from entering the United States. This is not B.S. either, this has been an actual topic of heavy discussion among the leaders of this organization. So yes, perhaps it is discrimination.

    Because it's a fantastic opportunity ...

a.) to bash American heavyweights if you feel like bashing them
b.) to bash Eastern European heavyweights if you feel like bashing them
c.) to bash black heavyweights if you're a non-black racist
d.) to bash white heavyweights if you're a non-white racist
e.) to bash great technical skills if you're a boxing fan who doesn't know what they're looking at
f.) to bash the Klitshko brothers if you don't like their dominance
g.) to bash the heavyweight division as a whole if all you care about is Pac / Mayweather
h.) to bash the PPV system as it's applied to screening boxing
i.) to call someone a ***** for not finishing off an opponent quickly
j.) to call that same person a bully for not picking on someone their own size (even though there's nobody else to pick on)
    k - y.) ...
z.) to get a rise out of people if they object to bashing any of the above.

It's got something for almost everyone.

WHITE MEN CAN'T GET PRAISE FOR ANYTHING. It's just a fact of life. Jealousy I suppose. Sad but true.

Well then it's pretty obvious what's going on. Americans hated Lewis because he is Black. They hate Wlad because he is White. America hates Whites and Blacks.
