No chance, he would of beat them in the later rounds or by decision, Wlad rarely beats anyone quickly anymore.

How quickly did Haye finish Barrett,Valuev, and Ruiz then?

How many flush shots did they take before they went down? He's hardly a massive puncher nor the deadliest finisher.

Wlad isn't a ginormous puncher either, but due to his size he's got a big clout. He has taken a while to break people down but genuinely sparked Ray Austin in the 2nd (with a left hook, not the vaunted right cross) and wiped Chambers, seemingly a pretty sturdy guy in his previous contests, late on (again with a left hook!)

He hasn't left masses of top quality fighters completely wasted but he has genuinely wasted people. Not 'stopped' them. But sparked them unconscious.

Neither man is Mercer-esque on the punchometer, but Wlad provides a sterner clout (IMO) and is less flawed and stylistically disadvantaged here. He can get up, as he showed agaist Sanders, and Haye is not a good finisher. Wlad, physically fit, can grab on and survive I reckon.

It'd be tremendous to see Haye do it, but I'm not seeing it myself.

The only people who have to clutch the straw of "winning the event" are the ones who lost the fight. :tong

Just about everyone fights Wlad the same way Audley fought Haye...Scared. I wanna see someone go at that Fragile Mandible and bust that chin up again.

Nothing is funnier than Wlad rolling around the ring on his hands & knees with his panties in a w(l)ad, holding onto the ropes for dear life.
