Why is women's boxing big over seas but not in USA?

    :huh:huh:huh:huh:huh:huh:huh Here in USA woman's boxing is mostly at club fight level but in europe women are fighting in main events on big cards even South border women's boxing is bigger then the USA what gives?:huh

    Truth is we some pretty good looking woman boxers here in USA but think the Promoters in Europe know how play up girls sex appeal better. :yep

    I think you are right here... No National Bashing thread bit I think that the US as a whole is a bit more sexually rigid than Europe... Promoters seem a bit shy too play the "look my girly fighter is hotter than yours" card...

    Honestly i dont like to see girls beating each other.. but maybe i`m just old fasion!:)

    Btw in a women boxing-fight in Germany they are thinking about using two men as ring "girls" Yikes!!! i sure hope it doesn`t happend!

    Only women's boxing?

    Not too sure about men's boxing across the world, but from what I read and hear, it's doing better overseas than it is in the states as well.

    wtf there only like 11 chiks in each weight divison. how can that rake in any interest. If you want to make women boxing popular thow in them chiks from WWE and i'll watch it every tym

    You're exactly right. Boxing in general is more popular overseas than it is in the States so it would make sense that women's boxing is the same way.

    Boxing is massively more popular in Europe to begin with. So it makes sense that there would be an interest in Womens boxing.

    In the US Ive come to realize that majority of boxing fans would be considered hard core fans according to casual standards. Regular sports fans simply do not watch boxing on any consistent basis, more of a by chance sort of thing.
