why is Wright considered too small for Pavlik yet abraham isn't?

    :patsch Typical no discussuion about the actual topic just bull****.

    I think people are saying he's too small becasue they really don't want to see Wright for starters and two he doesn't have the power Abraham has.

    Winky isn't a natural middleweight like AA, he also doesn't hit hard enough to get Pavlik's respect.

    Cause AA throws bombs & WW couldn't KO his grandmother. Winky is a great technicain, great defense, but 0 power.

    Well.... i mean there is little doubt he IS a smaller guy then AA, his legacy is largely at 154, and his biggest wins are against former 147lbers...

    AA IS a larger fellow..... but more importantly he has true power, winky has pop but its not true power like AA's.

    Regardless..... i want Pav vs Winky

    I think that at this point in time 160 is right where Winky belongs. Pavlik has a size and strength advantage over pretty much every middleweight out there. I also think that if this fight comes off, it will be the biggest challenge of Kelly's career. He's a cagey southpaw with tons of experience. Kelly has only dealt with one other highly experienced southpaw; Bronco McKart, and obviously Winky has alway been better than McKart.

    Abraham is very muscular and stocky. He actually looked pretty good at 166. However, compared to Winky, Abraham is just target practice.

    There isnt a chance of Winky fighting Pavlik due to the fact Pavlik would lose. Im not sure if I would put much credence behind Wright pricing himself pot of the picture.

    I'm tired of talking about Winky. He's starting to become as irritating as Gayweather. He grossly overvalues himself and his drawing power. Now he's jumping on Floyd's bandwagon, excusing HBO of racism. If HBO is prejudice, their prejudiced against premadonna's who talk big but don't back it up by either fighting the real fights or by entertaining inside the ring. If Kelly Pavlik or Cotto acted like Floyd by cherry picking and or fought incredibly boring fights like Wright and Hopkins, they'd recieve equal criticism.

    Well, theyre about the same height, but Abraham is a much larger man, the guys a tank.

    de la Hoya is the same height, or even a little taller, than David Tua. but he isnt a 'bigger' man, right?
