Why Is Your Favorite Fighter Your Favorite?

    I'd had the idea that all brit boxers were stiff, upright with no upper body/head movement firmly ensconced in my noggin from an early age. Then I saw John Conteh the LH version of Napolese. The most talented post war UK fighter.

    :goodI consider Conteh right up there with Buchanan and Lewis as the British (and worldwide) cream of the crop.

    Love Buchanan and Lewis as well,though for different reasons. Ken because of his great skill and grit and Lewis because the guy was a winner.

    As for a non brit SRL. The 9th against Hagler was a fine example of grace and poise under extreme pressure.

    I'll always have a soft spot for the trio of eubank, naz and bruno as they got me into the sport. Of those 3 bruno stood out for me, he was genuine and a true gentleman unlike the other 2 who became 2 bothered with their celebrity image. A true icon.

    My other favourite would be joe jeanette. Anyone who can survive 20+ knockdowns and emerge victorious is a hero in my book.
