Why isn’t Team Parker complaining about the headbutt KD?

part of being that kind of guy, that we love, is knowing when to stand up for yourself and defend whats yours, even against the opposing ref.

It was wierd that Parker didn't immediately complain to the ref after the knockdown from the headbutt.

Not to mention Whyte was pushing his head back, hitting him with low blows, headbutts, throwing him outside the ring like he was a piece of chicken and all Parker could do for a response was to attempt to touch gloves to try and be dillian's friend.

Lost a lot of respect for Parker after last night, more so than Dillian's dirty tactics because that was to be expected.

All that needs to be said about it. They genuinely seem like they are happy solely about Whyte taking a pause in between buffet dinners to acknowledge Parker with a head butt and punch him in the face.

Interesting point. I added up my scorecard this morning & had it 114-111 Whyte.

So yeah, the headbutt kd in a round Parker was winning until it occurred is a three point turnaround.

In terms of why there were no complaints, probably b/c when it occurred no-one thought it was a headbutt. It was just one of those things that happens & then needs to be overcome.

Parker came within a few seconds of winning at the end anyway.

    It just wasn't his night.

No if they didnt give this b.c. KD, it was a draw, cause Parker was winning that round big.
    And then it would be:
    1, 2, 5 , 10, 11, 12 for Parker
    3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 for Whyte.
    And that is a draw.

While it seems like most people are comfortable enough with Whyte winning, on the official cards if round 2 was a 10-9 Parker round it ends up a draw.

Personally I think a draw would have been fair enough. Even though the KD was BS it changed the complexion of the fight as obviously JP was behind on the cards early despite looking better in the early rounds. Without the KD, you just have a draw with JP dominating the start and end and DW the middle.

Joe is the most legitimate nice guy in the game

In a sport like boxing Joe is an anomaly

How the f can you be so nice but still want to be punching blokes lights out?

AJ is what I would consider a "nice guy" in boxing, he;s probably a legitimately nice bloke but he obviously has that mean streak within him.

Joe doesn't have any mongrel at all, on pure talent he beats Whyte every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

As a big Joe fan, I honestly thought the fight could have gone either way. Without the headbutt Joe wins clearly IMO. Funny thing is Joe only loses the fight because he was too passive in the mid rounds. Even though most of the mid rounds could kind of go either way, Joe gave the impression of being negative and the fight was in the UK and he needed to do more. Whyte did f all himself but he plodded forward and roughed him up a bit but was always getting home cooking.

The commentary was absolutely diabolical though, most biased I have had to listen to in a long time.

    You suck at Maths

    It would have been
    114-112 Whyte
    114-112 Parker
    113-113 Draw

    Draw

If there's a 3 point turnaround in relation to the headbutt kd, that would make it a draw wouldn't it?

They are always too deferential. They laid down to the AJ scores, which were much less one sided the official score. There was a solid minority, like @CST80 and I, who scored that one at least a draw for Parker. But his team totally chickened out and didn't complain, just like now. Hey, they got this high paying fight out of it, but a bad ref may have cost them the fight. Hope they get another high paying match out of this.

Whats the point in complaining? Do you think for one second they'd do anything about it?? It was blatant The ref couldn't miss seeing it Parker was expecting to get shafted I;m sure he was right. Though he didn't look to be in top shape himself
