There is no official confirmation on the venue but the Staples Center has no events listed for December 1 -although both basketball`s La Lackers and the LA Kings ice hockey team have games there the following day.
How big is the Staples Center?

It wasn't really a big fight when it was made. Had zero promo for it as it was very short notice and wasn't on PPV.

It only became a huge fight in the aftermath of the fight.

It won’t be in a stadium for the same reason AJ doesn’t fight in an open-air venue in the winter, lol.

Wrong question, when was there a stadium fight last in the US?

Should be asking why it isn't in Vegas as that's where the big money fights go in the US.

Staples supposedly made a good offer.
They are going with the safe money rather than betting on people to actually but tickets.

This isn't the 1920s. You don't have to sell out "stadiums" to make money.

Would you rather have 80,000 people buy tickets to a fight or a million people spend a $100 to watch it on TV?

    It's like saying you'd rather have a 1,000 pennies instead of a $100 bill.

Stadium events are nice. But totally unnecessary.

Also it’s a horrible viewing experience to go to a live stadium fight. They look like ants.

OK I was just wondering if the fight could sel out a stadium like a couple of AJ`s fights did over here in the UK.

Negotiations broke down over staging the fight at the Mandalay Bay.

A prime Lewis or Lewis at the age he was at when he fought Vitali vs Wilder would be staged in Las Vegas or would have sold out a stadium in Britain I`m pretty sure, even though Lewis wasn`t as popular as AJ is in Britain, if Lewis was Wilder or AJ`s age now a bout between him and Fury would be huge in Britain, Vitali wasn`t known anywhere when he fought Lewis.

No boxing fights should be staged in stadiums. It’s not a stadium spectator sport. If fans are stupid enough to be conned into paying money to sit in seats a mile away from the ring whilst watching the fights on a SCREEN above the ring, more fool them.
