Why isnt anyone clamoring for Canelo vs Sergio?

    Just wondering why people arent mentioning this fight as one they would like to see.

    Wouldnt it make sense for Canelo to move up to MW and challenge Sergio Martinez instead of trying to fight JMW & WW?​

    If he moved up to MW that'd likely be an end to any possibility of the Floyd fight, which is the one he wants.

    I'd welcome this fight 100%.
    I'm positive Martinez should he win next week will also be interested.
    (DiBella & Golden Boy could defo make it happen)

    Only wrench would be HBO

    Sergio would knock Canelo out and **** him...Canelo will not and I repeat people he will not beat the elite...and that's the bottom line, cause stone cold said so...

    Because Golden Boy is smarter than that they are going to milk Canelo for all he is worth.

    Martinez has really only been hurt in the 12th round against Chavez. Most of his knockdowns are because of balance. Trout's activity pushed back Canelo and his movement gave him problems. Martinez' speed would be too much for Canelo especially when he takes those breaks and just covers up. Not to mention that Martinez' throws the straight to the body to set things up, that already spells trouble for Canelo's considering his stamina issues. Martinez also has real MW power the only way i see Martinez losing is if he shows his age.

    Martinez would knock Canelo the **** out. Canelo loops his right hand way too much on those hooks, would be countered punched to death.
