We're all on the same page. This should be a good one. Stevenson can end it in a heartbeat, even though he is 41. On the other hand, he is slowing down and a lot of people want to see that woman beater laid out. I am much more interested in this fight than Wilder-Fury. No comparison.

Getting advice from the two best southpaws in the game and two P4P quality fighters who are cerebral to boot is never a bad thing.

That's the key, they are cerebral. Not to say they aren't both athletes (I've had the pleasure of seeing them both live), but they really think their way through fights.

That didn't answer my question. What does that have to do with the current? This thread is Gvodzyk vs Stevenson. Not Stevenson being a pimp in the past, and then serving his debt to society.

I didn't say that. Those are your words. Don't think we don't notice the technique of trying to use other reasons to spew hate on certain fighters, instead of coming right out and saying the real reason, due to the strict moderation of this forum.

Hilarious. Let's see, I'm on record as a big Andre Ward and Terence Crawford fan, you have no idea my skin color, and you're making a not so subtly veiled crack that I'm racist.

Adonis is a bully, through and through. Whether he's been beating up women or having Haymon protect him from real challengers for years, he's a man of low character who does not deserve adulation from the public or fame.

The fact he's so unlikable as a person makes it (justifiably) difficult to market him and his recent run of opposition has made him pretty much irrelevant in the division.

As far as serving his debt, he'd have gotten far more years in prison in most countries, and there are some crimes I personally don't forgive. Like **** and beating women.

Those are reasons why nobody is talking about Stevenson vs. Gvozdyk, which is what the OP asked.

If all Stevenson has in the tank, is what he brought for the Jack fight. This fight will be interesting for three or four rounds. Once Stevenson gasses, he will be toast against Gvodzyk.

It's not that great of a fight to be honest. Stevenson is old, it's not really that exciting really.

Especially since Stevenson now appears to possess only a six round gas tank at best.

That said, I agree that Stevenson could still be dangerous in the first three or four rounds if he can land that big left on Gvozdyk. After that, I can see the combination of his rapidly emptying gas tank and Gvozdyk's hurtful, accurate combos causing Stevenson to unravel and end up being stopped sometime around the seventh or eighth round.

Stevenson's lefthand has got to be one of the most dangerous weapons in boxing.
    Pure one punch power.
