Why isn't Bute v. Berrio shown in the USA?

    No network bought the fight. Interbox won the purse bid, and doesn't have connections like most of the US promoters to get their fight televised here, and it's not big enough to have it as a PPV. It would be nice to see someone try making it an internet PPV, a la Cintron-Estrada, but I don't know that the Canadian channels who bought the fight would be into that.

    Plus, I think the fight is going to be on CBC, which a lot of US homes do get.

    Hate to tell you this but Videotron/TVA are greedy *******s and I'm pretty sure you have to ba a client to see this live and free. Other then that, forget it !

    You could have asked the same about Kessler-Beyer and that was actually worse if you ask me considering it was a unification fight.

    :lol: Mate...they show every single Football League game, sometimes on more than one channel; they show literally everything! They sometimes show on terrestrial TV the kind of stuff that British people have to pay subscriptions for, like Premiership games! So why couldn't they show this one? It would have only cost them $90k. Not a fortune for Romanian TV by any stretch of the imagination. It's crazy! Especially when they have shown some other fights of his before. :-(

    looking forward to this fight. Im confident Bute will win this belt. anyone know if they will show any undercard fights, or will it just be like 40 minutes of hype (like they did with Valuev-Bergeron) then straight to the Bute fight?
