Those people that rank Crawford at no.1 p4p are definintely agenda driven. He's a terrific fighter but fair suck of the sav!

I think I saw him once in 2016 and then as a guest in the Joe Rogan Podcast. Completely unintresting boxer and person.

I don’t think Ava is a walk in the park for Crawford. Crawford isn’t the biggest welterweight and Ava is pretty tough durable guy. A guy who was avoided by Connor Benn. Of course I think Crawford wins but a hard fought victory over 12 rounds. Avaneysan being made out to be an absolute nobody by US journos. I do get that everyone is pissed that its not Spence

So then the real title should be "Why isn't Errol Spence fighting Boots or Ortiz?"

The answer is because Keith "One-time I used to be a boxer" Thurman is an easier fight.

There's always a 'but' with these dudes. If the fighter comes out and says " I want this guy, make it happen" then his promoter has to toe the line otherwise he's exposed before the whole boxing community. However when the Crawfords and Spences add the word but then its an out for the promoter.

I don't believe Spence or Crawford will fight Boots or Ortiz. Crawford is getting to an age where reflexes are affected especially against younger quicker fighters and Spence will move to 154 next year. Best a fan can hope for is a Spence Crawford fight next summer with both men at least 3 years past when they should have fought. A fight just like Floyd and Manny that was made after it's expiration date .

Because Crawford might end up losing to either man while also potentially causing further injury which then would come in between his future & halt his plans for his Cashout Spence fight, even though Crawford is trying to convince people that his fight against David is going to be on the same level as a Ortiz,

The same way he said Pacquiao got robbed against Horn initially only to then turn around & say the opposite just so his eventual win over Horn would look more impressive to the casual fanbases & with the helpful bias of the ESPN Broadcasting team he achieved that in plenty,

If you go back & watch any of Crawford's bitter interviews he's done with plenty of people in the previous years, it's always the same thing where he's on the edge always justifying his lack of position in his made up "Pound For Pound" rankings & coming up with every explanation possible for why his choice of Opposition & Resume is so pitiful.
