George Foreman used to say "Any big man can hit.
and that is certainly true. Also true? Any small man can hit, and any woman can hit.
Whether they hit like a mutha is anutha matta altogetha.

So you want to wait until Inoue is 35 before they fight? That is what's wrong with boxing. Bam can easily move up this year for a mega fight but instead prefers to fight old inactive men.

He can step up and get slapped around by Junto if he likes.

Doubt it. Juntos definitely gonna be a hard fighter for Bam to deal with should they fight. There’s a reason why hes not in a hurry to fight him just yet.

yes, and the reason isnt because junto can beat him. but we will see. hes been set to be found out since cuadras, and hes yet to find competition to test him completely. we will see if junto is the test.

whats funny is that when naoya was the same age he was fighting at the same weight. his resume there consisted of narvaez, parrenas, carmona, kokietgym, kono, rodriguez, nieves, and boyeaux. there were bigger names available, but he didn't fight them. now bam so far has cuadras, rungvisai, gonzalez, estrada, and guevara. only name missing is choco, and theyre friends so reluctant to fight.
back then nobody was demanding monster move up to fight a featherweight, let alone a future hof feather. is it because bam looks so good that it makes sense to match him that tough this early. or is it that fanboys dont apply the same standards to their crushes?

when promising guys are on the way up, people either love them or hate them. They’re either a future HOFer or about to be exposed. Just the way it goes in boxing fandom.

i admit bam is my favorite fighter. but not solely cause hes from my hometown, but because he really is an elite fighter. ive never hyped my home fighters, i wish them well but understand their limitations. bam has no relative limitations. his skills for a kid are off the charts. he can beat you going forward, backwards, or from the side angles. his offence is elite, he can beat defensive guys with it. his defense is elite, just look at how he always brings his left hand back to protect his chin. solid chin, best footwork in the game, unlimited gas tank, and a heart that wants everyones scalp on his belt. what more can you ask for from a fighter about to enter his prime years?
i knew this kid was the future before he fought cuadras. and said so back then. thats just because his talent was obvious to trained eyes. just listen to how other boxers describe the kid. hes special.

Bam is a big 115 and definitely wouldn’t be undersized against Inoue on fight night but he’s clearly ok at 115 for now now, some guys have good genetics for weight cutting. As mentioned already there are other interesting match ups at 115 and 118 so looking at those before the final boss fight against Inoue makes sense, especially considering Bam is still young

Inoue was avoided, Bam so far hasn’t been. Not really the same situation but credit to Bam for mostly fighting the best opponents available so far

Inoue ain't losing to no one coming from a weight class below him, I don't care if they're walk around weight is greater than his.

Inoue not losing unless he goes to SFW, no I do not think he's losing at FW if he goes there either, although Fig and Ball have a bit of a chance.

My nostrils detect the unmistakable stench of fear from Bam-Rod whenever the ever so slightly bigger Inoue's name is mentioned to him as a potential opponent. Whilst I do not and cannot respect that, I would at least be able to muster a slither of respect for him if he just admitted that he doesn't believe it's a fight he can win whilst Inoue is still in his prime.

Openly admitting he's waiting for Inoue to be admitted into the care home alongside his previous victims SSR, Estrada and Cuadras really doesn't sit right with me at all.

Bam-Rod is not a baby he's about to turn 25 in 10 days time for goodness sake and he's ranked P4P #5 off of the back of cleaning out the care home.

People act like he beat prime versions of those guys but they were ancient for fighters from the baby leprechaun sized divisions.

If he's good enough to beat the versions of them he receives a crazy amount of credit for beating and a lofty P4P ranking then he's good enough at 25 y/o to face a prime elite fighter in Inoue who is only a few pounds heavier than him if heavier at all.

I'll take fresh elite 22-25 y/o over and elite 34 + elite with a ton of mileage on their clocks every single day and twice on Sundays. Even more so for leprechaun division fighters. It's not even a question :deal:

And, as said, we really have to stop with this silliness praising the heck out of fighters for moving up in weight to fight opponents their own size or oftentimes with these massive weight bullies still smaller or much smaller than them

''Hey look at me I'm down here *insert the name of a lower or much lower weight division* beating up on leprechauns half my size but I have a big announcement to make, guys: Drumroll... I'm moving up to *insert higher weight division* to finally start fighting opponents my own size at worst. Isn't that amazing, guys? I must be the greatest, right? I am God''
