    Yep.

That's why most people's lists are mostly black.

    :-(

    I'm floored, Michogan.

Most people base the atg list based on resume and Floyd doesn't have a top 10 resume, but he has the talent

because of the enormous holes in his resume.

there more fighters missing than fighters on there!

the top atg have actually proven it, whereas floyd's case remains theoretical.

Not by anyone who knows anything. In other words, yes, Pac is a consensus top 10'er on the General Forum.

    Here's one theory:

Floyd has been a welterweight since November 19, 2005 when he fought Sharmba Mitchell. In those 5 years, pick out the welterweights or former welterweights below that Floyd has fought.

    1. Shane Mosley
    2. Miguel Cotto
    3. Antonio Margarito
    4. Joshua Clottey
    5. Paul Williams
    6. Manny Pacquiao

    Answer: Just one, Shane Mosley

For comparison, let's see of the first 5, how many has Pac (a natural lightweight) fought or is scheduled to fight?

    Answer:
    1. Shane Mosley
    2. Miguel Cotto
    3. Antonio Margarito
    4. Joshua Clottey

because no way is floyd one of the best 10 fighters of all time.
the best fighters fight and beat the best, when mayweathers biggest challenge came along he didnt want anything to do with him, refused even to talk about it. can you imagine jack dempsey, rocky marciano or roberto duran doing that?

Being undefeated is not enough, fighting the best is what is required to be great. Losses don't mean anything when you face the best, it never has.

No, he doesn't. I'm more tired of this frame of mind regarding Floyd's ability than I am Floyd consistently squandering his legacy. He'd have been middle of the pack at best among the Black Murderer's Row in the late 30's/40's golden era, for example. The overrating of his ability makes me cringe.

i dunno about u all but i have floyd in many top 10 lists.

    top 10 wasted prime (possibly # 1)
top 10 wasted talent (possibly #1 again)
top 10 immaturity level of a sports figure
top 10 woman beater (Ike Turner def got him beat here tho)
    top 10 excuse maker
    top 10 racist

so **** you everyone that says he aint on no top 10 lists. I could go on all day
