what is it like living under a rock, mosley had more than one chance to fight floyd while he was prime. If you are just talking about when mosley finally had the balls to start calling him out then we aren't talking prime mosley anymore so your point is invalid.

Jack Dempsey refused to fight black fighters :tired

    :yep:yep:yep

hes not that early in his career though, for some reason his early resume is overlooked/forgotten.

No one has a record anywhere near close to 100-3 wtf u smoking.

What sucks is that we don't know... He won't get in the ring against fighters where he could show his talent!

He is the best today but he isnt top 10 ATG, he got lucky with the timing. If he had been about 5 years older he would have been around the mosley, forrest, dlh, Ike, tito, winky ect, there was a lot going on at 135-154 just a few years before PBF, he wouldnt have been undefeated if he was in that mix

No I agree with you, I don't think he's that good either, why he himself decided not to fight many fighters, but still we can't know for sure how'd he have done vs Cotto, Pac, Marg, etc... His ducking hints that he'd have lost, as well as his Castillo fight and all, but we can't know for sure... He could have done a magic performance, or he could have lost...

That's what sucks today, too much ducking. Even Calzaghe, had he come to America sooner, faced RJJ before, in his prime, would have been much better than him facing RJJ's shadow... Same for Hopkins and RJJ, etc etc..

Fraud definitely had talent, but he wasn't interested in greatness. ATG's chased greatness and did everything they could to achieve it... Fraud's a *****, even if he did fight Pac and beat him, at this point it's too little too late.

He's not the best today... Pac's #1 on pretty much everybody's list.

If he was 5 years older, what makes you think he wouldn't have ducked then as he ducked now? He could have had challenges throughout his career, he never really cared about taking the difficult road...

He doesn't have the resume. Even if he beat Pac and Martinez at middleweight, he still wouldn't be top 10 all time. Floyd is a great fighter but no where near top 10 all time.

    heres one pretty good reason

hes ducked, avoided the elite guys the last 5-6 years when it counted. Managed to just not fight them, basically just pick your fav i listed...they all at the end of the day says he didnt dare to be great
pointless anyone replies to these stupid threads anyway

If your fighting subpar competition, heck youd look good.

Alfonso Gomez looked like a top 10 ATG against Gatti.

hes not even the best today....sitting on your ass cherry picking fights 1 time a year for the last 5-6 years against guys with a year left in their 16 year career who are actually battle damaged from fighting against the best at a time when they were the best and became a name that he somehow thinks it gives a piece of crediblity for
larry holmes gets no credit for destroying muhammad ali..he was supposed to do that and didnt even want to fight him
trevor berbick gets no credit for beating a corpse of ali...but its a win over ali... floyd beat alot of OLD GUYS that were huge names in their prime...
only problem is, FLOYD AINT BEATING ANY guys in their PRIME right and HASNT in a long time who are the big names people and the networks want to see

"too whom much is given, much is required". he has huge talents but failed to fight the best. instead, he retired after the hatton fight and came back after one year and 10 months and fought undersized 36 y/o jmm. compare this to leonard after a 3 year hiatus fought hagler at 160.

To be among the best you have to beat the best.
