Had the talent to become a top 10 but his resume is lacking the great wins.

Simple answer: "Legacy doesn't pay the bills" -Floyd

You cannot put greatness and Floyd in one sentence..

    He is nothing

I don't know why you like him.. He doesn't care about you at all

if floyd had morales' balls, he could have been top 10 easily. too many passed up opportunities for greatness. missed-out on top legacy fights when he didn't fought cotto back in 2008 and pac in 2010 and present.

Because Floyd hasn't beat one good fighter and he's ducked every boxer out there. He also won mickey mouse belts at catch weights moving up in weight and only fought fighters that had already been knocked out or was way past their prime.

Floyd avoids getting hit as well, what kind of bs is that, boxing is about toe to toe wars constantly, its called the sweet science for this reason!

Did I mention im an ignorant, narrow minded boxing fan who really doesn't know **** about the sport?

    Yours Sincerely,

    Mr. Hater

Could have been? Maybe. Easily? I highly doubt a person alive would ever earn a spot like that, with any legitimacy, easily. The men that did certainly didn't do it with ease.

well, so much for top 10 but i know he would hqve been much greater if he just fought those legacy defining fights. of course he could have lose to them or might win but struggled but with floyd's talents and skills, there's so much more to be desired in his resume.

That still wouldn't have made him a top 10 fighter.

only thing Floyd is top 10 is P4P currently

and ATG at 130.....other than that everything is very subjective or bullshyt!

How can you say he's got the talent when he hasn't shown it? You can always look good on sub-par opponent.

It seems that this is one of the few topics where even the *****s agree. Floyd doesn't have the resume to be considered even in the top 30 ATG.

dont agree with this at all.....he has showed his talent more than enough times....and i believe he makes a lot of his opponenets look sub-par.

This doesnt take away from the fact that he could have added a few more fights to his resume but he has shown his talent several respected boxers, trainers, journalist have recognized this.

If he cleared out the welterweight division then he would've been. But the problem is he didn't. No matter how much you say that Floyd would've beaten them all because he is way ahead of them skill-wise.

But at the end of the day, He ducked the welterweight division when things are hot.
