It is a possibility but do you have a credible source to back this up?. The reason I doubt this is because Wlad-Fury would sell better in the US. Fury's trash talk is great to promote the fight. Fury has the size , it would be a clash of giants, this sells better. Fury als has the better record. Nobody cares much about Jennings. he is too small, started boxing 5 years ago, mediocre record, little power. He is sort of a build up contender who went life and death with little known Perez
Fury will never hold the biggest prize in boxing, because fury ist just a big piece of ____ !! He will get shattert like your Pulev Guy, can't wait to hear all his excuses afterwards :deal
What stats are you looking for? Yeah he is mediocre but he's an american fighter. He also beat Perez i think in an eliminator. I think it was an eliminator not sure.
You may think of Fury what you want. But the past years Wlad only fought bums and they were even worse than Fury. :deal
Right, it was eliminator. But Wlad is fighting Jennings in a voluntary defense. In other words, Wlad could have fought Fury instead (who is also No1 but at the WBO)
Moron NBC is on every Americans house and that is why Fury got those numbers. Plus he fought an American. :roflatsch
I agree with you if you read my previous posts. I think you quoted the wrong person. I think its down to HBO backing the fight with an american fighter in Jennings after he fought Perez on HBO. Fury would want more money i think. He also might not want to fight in the USA against Wlad but rather Wembley stadium.
It is possible but it is also speculation. We do not have proof that HBO did not want the fight. It could also be that Wlad ducked Fury for April.
Fury better be prepared to find another bum to fight after Hammer, if he doesn't accept Wlad's terms for the summer then Wlad will move on with someone else until WBO produces a purse bid date.
Thompson, Ustinov, or Wach would be better opponents to prepare Fury against Wlad, and see how Fury does against someone close to his size.
