Yea arum was certainly trying to screw chavez by offering $7,000,000 to fight golovkin (as long as he signed an extension) and then $10,000,000 for his very next fight. That equals $17,000,000 or possibly more if he would beat GGG but yea arum was definately trying to screw chavez.

    Pfff

He was also offered $3.5 mil (inc. PPV upside) with NO contract extension to fight GGG which would of equaled or exceeded his biggest payday to date (against Maravilla) for what in most peoples eyes would be a less significant fight.

That's hardly shitting on the kid now, is it? Essentially he was offered a payday in line with previous earnings without extension, or an absurdly lucrative deal with an extension. I myself would be more than happy to be cast on the horns of that particular dilemma.
