Yes, I would like Cotto to get more vocal about fighting Floyd, but that wouldn't really be Cotto, so we're likely to have to wait around a bit for this match.

Save the sob story for your therapist. I don't see why you would bring this information to a Boxing forum.

If you bring up personal things on a forum, then get attacked about it, that's fair game.

Cotto should face Cintron,Clottoey or Margo off the bat. It's like like he's fought a long ass time and needs a break. He hasn't fought anyone of serious threat. Ever notice how many big punchers Cotto has faced since coming into the limelight? 2!

    Ricardo Torres and Judah

Torres took the fight on short notice and wasn't 100% going into the fight.

Judah was faded, inactive, and had not won in two years. And to top it off Cotto who was getting stunned, cheated to slow Judah down.

Cintron doesnt get any respect, the only reason people dont really bash him on a regular basis is because in the eyes of many he isnt even a valid champion!

Let me tell you a little thing or two about Kermit Cintron, the guy has no heart. He is another Manny Steward fighter that is such a robot technician that he cant get in there and do anything except execute a game plan. Cintron has no heart and that is why he is going to get whipped by Margorito, and Out boxed/ out classed by Paul Williams.

Margorito is going to crush Cintron once again and turn him into the gatekeeper of the welterweight division. Ive been saying this for months now, but once Cintron fights a top teir welter, he is going to loose and will be shut out of the belt holder ranks in the WW division, leaving him to float around kicking around tomato cans and losing title shots when he pads his resume with enough bums to get them, keeping him out of big fights.

I didnt think he would win, but I thought Williams/ Cintron would have been entertaining and good for boxing.

Kermit Cintron has to beat margo to keep his very slight chance of possibly ever doing anything significant in the welterweight division alive. That is why Margo/Cintron II is a good fight, because both guys are in relatively the same boat, they need a decent win.

KERMIT CINTRON IS GOING TO BECOME THE GATEKEEPER OF THE WELTERWEIGHT DIVISION

Doesn't matter. Don't bring it up if you don't want to be ridiculed. Otherwise people could just post a list of things they're sensitive about and everyone else would have to "respect those personal issues" when getting into arguments. If you post it on here, which is your choice to do, don't cry when you get picked on. I don't care what the issue is.

Judah and Mosley are serious fights, regardless of whether you think so.

I agree that Cotto's low blow shots to Judah were intentional, but that is irrelevant. Cotto was willing to risk losing points to do so, and it paid off. Being a smart, dirty fighter, can win fights. If not for the low blows, the fight may have a different outcome, as Judah wouldn't have had his energy sapped from him. That's irrelevant now, though.

Attacking Kermit is pointless. People only attack those who are on top, which is why Floyd is so heavily criticized. It's like when idiots open threads that are like, "Gatti is overrated, he's just a punching bag!" No one really wants to hear that ****, since no one is making the claim that Gatti is the greatest boxer of his generation, etc.. In other words, without something to cause the reaction, why mindlessly come out and just start attacking a fighter who isn't even heralded as something he's not?

 I never cried about being picked on. I could care less about every name relentless or lance has called me, but when someone who knows (which I thought relentless knew) purposely attacks someone who was molested. I have the right to complain. To personally attack someone like that is completely wrong. Only low life people when see nothing wrong with it.

Sure they were serious but they weren't threatening. Mosley is not a big puncher and they knew he was old and Judah wasn't what he once was.

He's no Joshua Clottey - He's a level above that.

Further - Two things disprove your claim he has no heart -

Number 1 - In the Estrada fight he badly broke his hand, yet maintained his composure and fought through the pain to gut out a win. That was post Margo. Heartless fighters quit in those circumstances.

Number 2 - The sheer fact he chose to fight Margarito again after Margo made him cry and collapse alone shows that he at least wants to make amends.

Steward is a pretty good psycho analyst. I think he'll help him in that area too.

I guess the question is - Skill wise has Steward improved Cintron like he did with Lewis or is he not really adding much as happened with Taylor.

I guess the best measure of all of this is to see how Cintron deals with Margo this time.

The best thing with all of this is that Cintron didn't avoid a rematch - He's taking the bull by the horns again - And win loose or draw against Margarito - I have respect for him taking that fight.

He could have fought Williams and the detractors here would all say "he's avoiding Margo".
