He fought once last year and once so far this year https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/617144 he's 5 years younger than Wanheng yet Mr 54-0 fights more frequently
Wanheng beat up a lot of chumps. CP fights topline men. Wanheng can't compete for overall resume and he's fought fewer than half the fights. I'll take more infrequent but better fights over beating up mostly just guys any day of the week.
It isn't a very deep division. You can be a journeyman with a losing record and still make the top50. So if you're a beltholder and you don't fight journeymen at strawweight, there aren't that many opponents left.
It's not odd at all. Wanheng is fighting people who have little to no chance of beating him. Byron Rojas (twice), is definitely better than anyone Wanheng fought, Carlos Buitrago, who Freshmart met at just 12-0, probably is and even someone like Alexis Diaz might match the best Wanheng has met. Basically, I would rather see Fury fight Joshua twice next year; you would rather see him fight Kenzie Morrison, Hugo Truijillo, Bakhodir Jalolov, Dereck Chisora III and Junior Maximus. You ****ing freak.
I remember the WBA ordered Knockout to face Jose Argumedo, but that was a couple months ago and nothing has materialized since.
