Why isnt Margarito the WW champion???

Here is how I see the rankings.

Champion: Margarito
1. Miguel Cotto
2. Paul Williams
3. Shane Mosley
4. Joshua Clottey
5. Andre Berto (solely just because he has a title)
6. Carlos Quintana
7. Kermit Cintron
8. Luis Collazo
9. Zab Judah

How is Margarito not the WW champion. Other than Cotto and Mosley none of those guys have faced top guys like Margarito has.
Margaritos last few fights have included Cotto(champion), Cintron(champion), Williams(champion), Clottey(champion), And Cintron again(a fighter that was "Vargased" by Margarito even though he was supposed to be an unstoppable force coming up).

Lets look at PW now, He has faced Quintana 2 times(champion), and Margarito(champion) and thats about it. So how does PW deserve to be above Margarito or even on the same level.
Cotto should still be higher than PW. Cotto has a hell of a resume at 140 and 147. If not for the loss he would be ahead of Margarito.
I dont get why the PW fans think its even justifiable to have him above Margarito or even Cotto. Just because he beat him in a close fight. Other than that he really has not proved much.

I think the reason that PW and his camp keep calling out Margarito is because he is on top again. There is alot of great talent for them to fight in the WW but they know he could get schooled again by a "lesser" fighter so they just want to fight Margo so in casse they lose again they can say they lost to the best.
I think Margo should try to make a fight with DLH as much as he can and if he cant then he should get Mosley in there since that would make him alot of money too. In the meanwhile PW can face any of those top fighters i mentioned since he has only fought 2 top guys at WW and 20some other tomato cans.

Why doesnt he fight Clottey then Margo in early 2009? fight a credible opponent and then call Margo out Paul. Stop trying to take the easy way to stardom. Margo earned his way there. You have just started and expect to be on the same level as him.
By the way clottey would school PW just like Quintana did to him so i doubt that fight ever gets made unless Clottey gets to be the man at WW. Then Paul will be talking. Paul is no one at the moment but a big mouth who asks for **** he doesnt deserve.
He could also fight Berto, Quintana, Cotto, or Collazo. I would like to see him fight Collazo also and have his ass schooled. However watching Cotto break those ribs would be the most satisfying.

Any comments would be welcome and please dont call me a hater and just lets have a reasonable conversation. No need for **** talking which is what these forums have been lately.

 

Why does he need to fight him to be #1 at the moment?
Is it because PW has fought so many top WW that he deserves to be #1?
The thing is PW hasnt fought many top WW to be considered #1 at all.

So why do you guys think he deserves it more than Margarito other than just because he beat him before?

Who else has he beaten other than Margarito and Quintana to be called the top dog at WW? Seriously one of you Paul fans tell me this.

 

I do want to see Margarito avenge that loss believe me. And actually i think out of the top WW Clottey would be Margaritos toughest fights not PW. But in order to put them on the same level as you way wouldnt PW have to have faced more top WW like Margarito already has?
Thats the way i see it. Its like if that Zelenoff kid for some reason got in the ring with Margarito and beat Margarito in a fight and then you say he deserves to be mentioned as the top of the heap at WW. Above other guys like Cotto that have fought alot of top guys at that weight class.
It just does not make sense.

 

Thank god someone actually agrees with me. I thought i was alone. People of course think that its because im Mexican that i say this but that fight was for all the marbles at WW. I was rooting for Cotto to win actually but hell Margo is also a great fighter.

I almost think its because he is not American that people keep saying he is not the WW champion. And PW an American is suppose to be on top.

Maybe by beating all the top WW he has faced.
And Margarito has fought most of the top WW today. Has PW done that? No he hasnt.
Its like i have been asking and no one has answered yet.

What else has PW done other than beating Margarito to be called the
Champion or even being seen as being on even ground with Margarito?
