Why isn't PBF considered in the same light as a Pac or Calzaghe?

    who said Calzaghe is an ATG what a Joke no one one here but the regional savants claim this ******* is anything but a good champ who ducked fighters for most of his career and got drppoed and beat by the only real top guy he ever fought.

    are you kidding me? floyd was rated around top 20-30 ATG fighter here in ESB. while pac even with a great resume doesn't even beat harada as asia's greatest fighter.

    many dislike floyd for his attitude outside the ring but few no one deny his skills.

    Add to that after he lost to Raheem, he moved down to super featherweight to fight Pac - got knocked out ... fought him again and got knocked out ... then fought David Diaz in 12 and lost --

    That says alot about his victories over Morales (not to hate on Pac)

    Then Barrera was coming off a loss to Marquez - then was challenging Pac for a moral victory --

    PBF hasn't lost ... he fought more champions than both fighter ... and he's had just as many championship fights against top notch opponents and has never been knocked down or out.

    I have to disagree ... many on this site believe that Floyd has to fight Cotto to secure any spot amoung the ATG's ...

    That is the one and only reason Floyd gets hated on for his achievements. If he was an likeable guy he would get more respect for what he has done. But you have a lot of guys on here who only look at his attiude. He will eventually come back and destroy all these so call guys that all his haters claim he ducked.

    How has he ducked anyone when he has like 16 former champions on his resume and 19 title fights?

    Carlos Monzone had an undefeated streak of 13 yrs and 16 title fights and he's considered one of the greatest middleweights of all time.

    Sugar Ray Leonard only had 13 title fights and had lost 2 of them with his most notable opponents being Thomas Hearns, Hagler and Roberto Duran -- not including his losses to Camacho and Norris ... (Benitez did nothing after Leonard)

    Lets remember too Calzaghe doesn't even have 10 former world champions former/current on his resume.

    Hearns was in 19 title fights and lost 4 of them ...

    Those are just a few p4p fighters ...

    i don't know about them. just the irrational haters i guess. but almost anybody knowledgeable here rate him inside top50 ATG even if he did not fight cotto.

    Well, he was considered p4p #1 until he retired and now pac is #1. But it doesn't matter to me. I just love watching floyd fight. Boxing at its finest like RJJ in his prime.
