Why isn't the Linear Ring Magazine Title on the line for Bradley/Alexander?

Well i think that the Malignaggi that fought Khan would have beaten the Witter that fought Alexander!

Malignaggi is a better fighter than Witter. Especially the Witter that Alexander fought.

Thw truth? DEvon really lost in his last fight! Khan takes on the toughest and bigger puncher and wins. The winner on Bradley/devon vs Khan should be crown with the Ring!

No problem as such but your earlier post which I quoted was blatant fanboyism.

Honestly, Witter was never that good. He made a career out of convincing people Hatton was avoiding him and, if that was the case, then Witter was world class too, just like Hatton. The problem is, how many top level performances did he actually have? He looked good against Corley, even better against Harris but that's pretty much it. He was a very hot and cold fighter, who could look good against some guys and stink against others. That's the reason he never got the big fights, because he couldn't build his fanbase up due to such inconsistent performances.

When Bradley beat him, that wasn't just him on a bad night. He was beaten by a better opponent and this was a good version of him too. by the time he fought Alexander, he looked like a shopworn fighter.

I think, peak for peak, you could argue Witter was better than Malignaggi. I certainly think because of his lack of punch, prime Malignaggi would be easier for Khan than Witter would be for Alexander. However, when you are comparing the two wins, you have to consider how good each guy was when they were beaten and I have no doubt that Malignaggi was better.

It's because the Ring brought in their "1 v 3" ruling for the Vitali-Sanders fight, and have used it to make fights they want Ring belt matchups.

If you don't believe it's to do with readership and popularity (and Golden Boy Promotions) you have rocks in your head.

:good You don't drop a guy for winning a fight, even if you thought he lost. Which I did. This should be for the Ring title. Khan's promoter owns the Ring so what do you expect.

Not being a dick, but you are willing to say definitively that Khan looked impressive in his last outing? I mean I'm not trying to **** on the kid, but you have been going to this extreme all day. He was lucky to finish the fight, was literally on ***** street, had to literally run around the ring avoiding Maidana in order to finish, and some even had him losing. How was that any more impressive than Alexander's decision of AK? Other than many had such low expectations of Khan and his "chin", that he was given credit for surviving...I mean is that the Gold standard that he didn't get KO'd? Again, I like Khan fine, and I think he's a fine young fighter and will likely accomplish great things before all is said and done, but looked impressive...come on man.

I think its still to be decided from Doug Fischers' comments in his mail bag this week.

There are people that say the same about Khan, I mean you can go back and read the threads...he was out on his feet and people rejoiced because he didn't get KO'd, as I said in my earlier post, I'm not trying to **** on Khan, I like the guy but I don't consider his win over Maidana overly impressive from a perception standpoint. I give him hella credit for winning the fight, no different than I give Alexander credit for winning his fight, but to say either was more impressive than the other, I just don't see how that can be said when they both were pretty fortunate to win, IMHO.

Cuz amir is the 2nd best jr welterweight in the world. The winner can fight amir for the ring magazine title.
