Please..u dont know ****..Williams has wanted Margarito since the 1st fight...Margarito wanted no parts of that...He offered 4 million and Margarito turned that **** down period..Im out n get ur facts straight newbie!

 

Get your facts straight, Williams did want his mandotory eforced, at that time Arum offered Tony a fight with Cotto in which Margarito considered dumping his WBO title to get his long awaited big money fight.

Floyd fans cried foul said Tony was ducking, Tony decided to defend to prove that he ducks no man, he fell short in the fight, asked for a rematch Paul turned that down, only to move on and lose to Quintana while Margarito rebounded and won three in a row by knock out winning two major world titles and Now Williams wants to fight Margarito to get a slice of what Margarito has worked for.

 

How could he possibly unify now? the man gave away his title, he lost stock in lossing to Quintana

anyone who follows boxing knows williams and his promoter refused an immediate rematch
ever since the post fight interview marg asked for a return
after chasing williams and his promoter and finally realizing they would get nowhere marg kept on fighting
to prove he was the best in the division
cmon williams never intended to give margarito a rematch until after he beat cotto and his name started to ring bells

 

if he was truely trying to Unify the division as you argue, why did he give up the WBO title? did paul suddenly feel he wanted a real challenge in unifying the divison and said to himself hmmm let me go ahead and get rid of this WBO title and start from the ground up and win all four titles another way?

I dont think so kid, Paul dumped the title and move up in weight more than likely because he is having a hard time making 147, not becuase he doesnt want to wait it out to see if he can get Tony after the Cotto fight, bottom line here is Paul moved up in weight knowing that Tony wasnt going to just follow him soley for that one fight, so whos fault is it?

and can you blame Tony for wanting to add Mosley to his resume and a 2nd fight with Cotto thats extra money there for Tony why wouldnt he?

 

there was not gonna be any unifying in the division unless floyd called for it and everyone knew it
he was showing alot of wear towards the end of that fight(heart also)
most watching felt that margarito could make adjustments in the next fight and win
the rounds he won were clear
the rounds he lost were also pretty clear due to inactivity
any real champ worth his weight in dirt would have given that rematch unless they were worried their body couldnt take two fights like that back to back

 

He did call out some names no doubt, but he failed in his first defense though he did win the rematch, his stock still fell, and just recently he dumped that WBO title and moved up, so he must have obviously not wanted to unify that bad.

 

if you dont think a rematch is going to happen with these two something is wrong with you, of course Tony wants to avenge that loss, but wants to do it similar to Floyds style, when its bigger and better, the only difference between Tony and Floyd is Tony will fight Paul when its bigger and Better Floyd just says that **** to keep himself from getting popped in the lip when Margarito is face to face with him.

The only way for it to happen is if Williams makes it that way, he needs to stop fighting no names and get some solid wins.

 

I highly doubt a Margo/Williams rematch is going to happen anytime soon. As far was Williams getting solid wins. While Margo is fighting Mosley, Williams is fighting a guy that beat up Shane twice in the form of Wright. I don't see Williams going back to WW and I definately don't see Margo coming up in weight.

 

after all that margarito risked in fighting him and not returning the favor you cant cry because now you change your mind
i really think this fight needs to happen but the blame is being put in the wrong place
now if i see a fat girl in the bar when i am pretty drunk, try to take her home and she acts like she's eva mendez

All these people saying stupid **** like "Williams needs more quality wins to earn another shot" is so ****in ridiculous! If Margo had any type of nutz, he would be riding around here in Aiken, SC in a lowrider knockin on people's doors lookin for Paul! He wouldn't care how much it paid him...
