    I don't think that Cotto should be called a hypejob ... I thought that he had what it takes to beat anyone out there ... he has some technical flaws but his overall talent gets him through fights.

    Cotto seriously needs a new trainer ... or quit thinking he can knock just anyone out ...

    Margarito is scared of Williams ... if Williams became the mandatory for the WBA ... then Margarito vacates that title.

    if he is over hyped, well then you can say that about Floyd becuase they share three common opponents of which Cotto stopped and Floyd went the distance with.

    Floyd is still undefeated and Cotto isn't ... Floyd retired "welterweight champion" ... "p4p champion" and undefeated ...

    Cotto has lost and his undefeated streak is over ... it didn't last as long as Mayweathers and it didn't have as many former/current champions defeated.

    I think that Mayweather is on another level than any welterweight out there right now.


    The thread isn't about Mayweather or Cotto ... its about Margarito v Williams II and why its not happening.

    Give it up, Cotto was overhypede just like Pavlik. I gotta go, but I'll be back in a little bit to discuss why PBF is constantly being considered as an ATG & why Margo isn't. No bad blood between us, its just a forum. Peace dude.

    Because AM hasn't done what it takes to be considered "Great." Very Good and arguably the best WW today (though I argue for Williams) yes-Great no.

    but for the topic, its not gonna happen because Margarito wants no part of Williams. I think he wants no part of Clottey too and he beat him.

    Cotto isn't over hyped...He just can't beat Margarito...He is still #3 in my book at WW right now...Lets see how he comes back against Jennings..We'll know if he's a hype if he starts losing..but lets not forget he beat a future HOF Shane Mosley who is still 1 of the top dawgs in the WW division...and he Kod a decent if not good Zab Judah...Cotto is still a good fighter and not a hype..he just took a brutal beat down from Tony...

    or just sit on here and catfight all day
    williams denied the immediate rematch and said he wanted to move on to other things
    now just because he wants the rematch he should get it HELL NO
    williams is a very good fighter but he hasn't fought anyone since margarito period
    he goes up in weight to fight club level fighters and expects a shot
    the biggest thing he has done is go 1-1 with quintana
    please don't talk about forrest beating mosley he was as hungry and as good as he ever was or will be during those two encounters mosley never ducked anyone no matter how bad the style matchup was
    but an undefeated record isn't all that matters to a man seeking greatness
    you guys need to learn about that ****
