Why isn't there much hype around Chocolatito vs Estrada II?

That fight is supposedly set for March 13, 2 weeks from now. And yet there's barely any buzz, build up, or hype around that fight. It's the long awaited rematch between 2 great fighters of the lower weight class and it's probably the best match up made this year so far. Why isn't there a lot of talks about this fight? What gives?
This rematch DESERVES a lot of attention for fight fans.

DAZN is very weak on promotion of non-Canelo fights.

that is true if its not Canelo then its 2nd rate news. witch is a shame because that fight is going to be one of the best fights of the year. every boxing fan who knows what they're talking about will be watching that fight because it will be good.

Oh, I'm looking forward to it. Those smaller guys will actually fight one another.

Same reason why people weren't really talking about Berchelt-Valdez. Most boxing fans are size queens.

For non-casuals, Sor Rungvisai probably took some of the shine off the rematch a few years back. The perception is that while Chocolatito is still a good fighter, he's no longer elite. And while Estrada has shown signs of slippage, he's still considered a P4P-level fighter. That said, I'm really excited for it - and I expect it to be a highly competitive showcase of awesome skills before Estrada pulls away.

For casuals and people who only follow the big names at the mainstream weight classes, they simply would never care about 115 pounders. It's too bad because both of these guys are two of the defining fighters of the lighter weight classes over the past decade.

Roman Gonzlez is an Elite smallish minimumweight, who fought as low as 103lbs, 158cm 5'02".

At 115 he is maxed out mainly due to his height, he used technical superiority to make up for the loss of range at 108, 112 & 115

All pressure is on Estrada, because he has the most to gain from this fight, if he beats Roman Gonzalez, he revenges all his loses. A win for Roman Gonzalez will ruin Estrada momentum & get Roman another payday.

Because they're yesterday's news, which for guys in the fly range means they're roughly as relevant in casuals' eyes as, say, Clifford Etienne (heavyweights naturally getting a +4000% name-value staying-power bonus multiplier compared with their colleagues on the other end of the weight spectrum)

...and I say that as someone that loves both, and was a huge fan of the fly range long before it was cool.

Roman Gonzalez size limits him, but if Estrada keeps winning he can do a JMM up to 122-126

Estrada optimistic scenario, depends heavily on Inoue the same way JMM depended on Pacman
    • 115 Roman Gonzalez
    • 118 Rigo
    • 118 Inoue I
    • 122 Inoue II
    • 122 Inoue III
    • 126 Inoue IV
