    I don't consider Cunningham's resume all that strong. The best win on it continues to be Guillermo Jones.

    So what makes Adamek more of a bum than him.

    Everything you described about Adamek is exactly what Steve went through(beating "eurobums" to get where he is).

    What motivates you to pick on Adamek and not mention Steve's resume?

    If beating Paul Briggs twice, knocking out Thomas Ulrich and Oneil Bell as well as doing better against (not a hype job but a future great) Chad Dawson than Antonio Tarver did equals a Eurobum then yea ok he is a Eurobum. Everybody seems to be a bum nowadays.

    Err, yeah, that was the exact point. If Cunningham was European and had fought the exact same opposition with the exact same results, then some people would rank him a lot higher than they do now and others would rank him a lot lower. How does that make any sense?

    You still seem to be persisting in the notion that this thread was supposed to be about Tomas Adamek. It isnt.

    As expected you had no legit answer.How much higher can Steve be ranked when he is already the #1 CW in the World???


    Now if you have a problem with Adamek getting more attention that has EVERYTHING to do with fight styles and not resumes.There is good reason as to why Adamek has fought on HBO,Showtime,Foxsports,ESPN,ESPN Classic,and now VERSUS and Steve has not.

    That seems to be the case. But more particularly that he fought Briggs in the US.

    Do you think he would be as highly regarded if he had fought Briggs in Australia?

    ....and both fight's were candidates for Fight of The Year.

    His first fight with Briggs wasnt even televised and he still put himself on the map.

    Say what you really feel Cobbler....you are stuck in the past when infact Europe did provide "Eurobums".This isnt the 90's anymore.Times have changed.

    Boxrec has this fight televised on Versus, Dec 11....2 days later also on Versus, James Toney and Tony Thompson. ...Finally some quality fights for free.

    This whole thread was based on Cobbler thinking he was being cute and funny.He started a thread without knowing what he will say other than "eurobum" and 'eurobumdom".

    Thread was in response to Dawson fans calling Kessler, Reid, etc. (Calzaghe's opposition) Euro-bums, but praising Adamek as a great win on Dawson's resume. Nothing against Adamek at all, just pointing out Dawson fans' hypocrisy.

    My whole response was to point out how full of **** some people are(no real reason(other than being a black american fighter) as to why one guy is a 'bum' and the other isnt despite having comparable resumes')
