Why isn't Wladimir catching hell for fighting Chisora?

Well out of the only guys worth fighting Adamek is finding his feet at heavyweight, Haye and Povetkin have contract issues so outside of those 3 does it matter? Chisora is top 15 in the world and one of the highest ranked guys willing to fight who hasn't already been in the ring with Wlad.

Yes, undefeated with 14 fights.

Maybe Wlad should hang out at amateur tournaments, waiting for a kid to turn pro so he can fight him.

 

Name a fighter who was available AND willing to fight Wladimir, who is better (not just in your opinion but the majority) than Chisora.

No one is saying Chisora is the next coming of Ali. However, he's not a bum either. He's a good fighter who doesn't have a lot of experience.
There's no one else out there for Wladimir to fight at the moment. And I'd rather see him fight, than just sit and wait for Haye to grow a pair of balls.

 

Emanuel Steward said they had a long list of top fighters that they called and nobody wanted it. Chisora was about their seventh choice.

 

Exactly. And even the haters know this....but they'll never admit it.

 

Because there isnt anyone better out there.

I think the general public realizes there isn't anyone who can really challenge him so just let him fight whoever and make whatever money he can...
Boxing isnt a sport. It's just entertainment at this point... and about money.

Because Wlad is picking opponents from the list going from top-down and Haye is picking opponents going from bottom-up.
