Why Ive been on ESB so long and why I finally realized that most posters......

    Dont know crap about whats going on in the actual fight itself. You can tell none know the actual fight aspect of boxing..They spend there lives on Box Rec expecting kudos and scooby snacks for knowing who beat who and this or that guy was a great fighter. But can NEVER actually SEE what is going on in a fight or why so and so didnt knock out so and so and the other guy did. Funny how I now realize this...they spend time arguing who is the best of all time and fantasy matchups without even knowing there so called favorites fighters ring tendencies, strengths and weaknesses. Time for a reality check:deal

    There are good posters and bad posters, knowledgable posters and not-so-knowledgable posters, classy posters and annoying posters...mix them all together and you get a great forum.

    Sorry man, but Lance has been here longer than 2003. Hell, I was here in 2003 and Lance and Radar had nearly 5000 posts THEN before the crash. Widdow as well, along with Farmy and a few others.

    Thanks. I miss those days. Not so much for Radar and Widdow, but posters like Zivic1942 who was perhaps the most intelligent poster I can recall.

    I remember Zivic. But not well. I only posted part of the time then because I got a sour taste in my mouth on my very first post dealing with Farmboxer. I also didn't realize that this website was more international. I didn't have a problem with that, but I had never encounted being disliked or called bias simply because I was American.

    It has it's ups and downs here....always has, always will.

    He's more an afterthought now really.
