Cotto would be KTFO and probably hurt bad, I would honestly

fear for his damn health. Cotto is trying to squeeze in one more

big payday before calling it quits. He has been good for boxing

and in the past ducked no one. That's the reality. If GGG is that

desperate to make a splash there is 168 Where Ward is more

    than ready willing and able.

Cotto vs GGG = not much PPV, and ends in Cotto KTFO its

not hard to figure this one out. Cotto is At the end of his

career he has always been a warrior, so I'm gving him a pass on

this. Were he a young lion in ascension, there is no way I

    would let this pass.

I agree, let Cotto live, he wasn't made for fighting middleweight monsters.

    Na.

I like Golovkin and a TKO win would by no means be an upset but Cotto could give him a fight

And who knows Cotto might pull the upset

I remember hearing rumors a while back that Cotto school Golovkin in sparring so you never know how a fight between them would play out

GGG hasn't been tested guys and his defense is questionable.

Crazy, right? Unfortunately, I suspect Cotto will vacate the title rather than face Golovkin. :ko

i agree he would lose but he is the champion and he should face the best guys.. he can easily just vacate which would simply mean GGG would fight for the vacancy against some guy with a big set of *****

I think if Cotto manages to get another big pay day he would fight GGG after.

Cotto has a chance against GGG because GGG hasnt fought anybody of his caliber.

After his fight this summer i think he will fight GGG. i would say he would fight Canelo next but that fool will probably try to fight on Septemeber when Mayweather will fight again, bascially ducking Cotto because he knows Cotto not gonna trick off his money and fight when Mayweather fighting.

So I say Cotto fights GGG this year

Yeah, but Cotto isn't the one to test that chin.True, he destroyed D-Rod and Sergio but Golovkin has already faced bigger punchers (Stevens, Macklin, Rubio) and his chin held up. Cotto will only have a chance if he's able to somehow force Golovkin to fight on the back foot and avoid eating uppercuts by the dozen in the process.
