In the new boxing world there are no duckers and no fanboys just bussiness man and fans of those bussiness man " he makes no sense , he makes no money , he brings no fans , he brings no money" this coming from the fans and fighters alike , which is sad.
Cotto wont fight GGG because its a carrer ending fight which ends with a KO , he will make the same money fighthing someone soft.
i dont mind that , but he should vacate before that so we can see GGG defending against all comers (maybe lee/quillin/saunders/Ndam will want it once he gets so many titles).

the reason people wanna see cotto face ggg is this...they know cotto is at a disadvantage and will prob lose....they want to see cotto destroyed by ggg....because cotto is saying he can beat floyd with roach is being mentioned as a possible floyd opponent....also cotto didnt look completely terrible against floyd.....so if cotto gets destroyed the pacboys will have a field day downplaying cotto while saying "only time cotto was good was when pac fought him"

How 'bout the lineal ends up where it belongs, and defends it against actual top middleweights? :blood

If he doesn't want the fight which I don't blame him for, then he has to fight someone else like Canelo who he also has no interest in fighting. He is a disgrace and should give up boxing because he is scared of any remote challenge!

Imagine Golovkin against a crippled Maravilla that night... It's probably a good thing that never happened.

    This.

Why campaign at a weight just to snag a belt instead of proving your dominance there?

    Cotto has no sack.

Because Cotto didn't deserve a title shot, and can't defend his belt. GGG is the best in the division and deserves to have a unified title.

You can't say that. Cotto's record of opposition is maybe the best in the sport with May, Pac, Martinez, Mosley, Judah, Trout, Margarito, Malignaggi, etc. He's a welterweight who took a chance stepping up to fight the middleweight champ. That took guts.

They can always grant him another extension. Forget not that the sanctioning bodies tend to make up rules as they go along.

I agree if he defends the Middleweight title otherwise just vacate it.

Don't have any issues with him fighting Lara, Canelo or Mayweather for the Jr. Middleweights...
