i mean he fought like 15 years more after iron mike

""""""and NO one KO'd him again! ONLY MIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!""""

People say "He Was Old" but he fought for 15 years more! even at age 53!!!

he beat Prime Ray Mercer "4 years after Fighting Iron Mike"
lost a decision to Prime Evander holyfield "4 years after Fighting Iron mike"
lost a decision to Oliver Mccall "7 years after fighting Iron Mike"

Do you mean to insinuate Tyson does that to a prime Larry, or are you legitimizing the win?

Im trying to Say Holyfield, Mccall, and Mercer couldnt stop a much older Larry Holmes

noone did for 15 years after, Tyson is the only one ever.

(Ray Mercer was in his prime) just Ko'd Morrison previous fight and lost to a 43 year old Larry
(Evander Holyfield was in his prime) (1992) still failed to stop a 43 year old Larrry,
(Oliver Mccall) faced a 46 year old Larry and failed to stop him.

    and?....

You make no point. Are you trying to say Mike Tyson was great or that Holmes was great.

I dont understand what you are trying to get at.

That says as much about Mike's power than anything else though doesn't it? I mean, we already know Holyfield is not a particularly big puncher, he hit Bobby Czyz with all he had, did not make a serious dent in him, he did the same to De Leon, same result, he struggled to get him out of there, although did manage to eventually.

Larry fought in the heavyweight division for 15 years after and still wasnt stopped ever again

Okay, but how much? Ray Mercer was hardly a stellar fighter, he lost to Jessie Ferguson. Morrison got rail roaded by Michael Bentt!, Holyfield was just not a puncher.

Mercer had a great fight with Bert Cooper, but again, who did Cooper ever beat? to my knowledge he was just a tough SOB involved in many great fights.

Mercer gave Lewis a run for his money though.

IMO...........Mercer beat Lewis. Mercer begged for a rematch.......but Lewis wanted none of it, Sorta like the Vitali fight. LL DEMANDED rematches with guy's that beat him but would never grant one to a guy that gave him hell and he "escaped" with a "W".

And it just means that Tyson's speed+power was ****ing DEVASTATING. And he gets pooped alot on now because he really ruined his own prime..........but styles make fights and Tyson KOes Holmes every time.:deal

I think it says more about the two fighters styles more than anything, Mike brought a certain seek and destroy style, a kinda of fury combined with tremendous punching power, that McCall did not have.

I guess the win warrants more than its worth, but i mean how far would you want to take it?

Would you rank it over his win over Bruno? a guy that actually won a strap in the 90's, infact he beat McCall, a guy Larry lost to. Carl Williams, who Mike beat, arguably beat Larry years before he fought Mike to.
